It turns out that a lot of what we think about Sweden's economy is DEAD WRONG.

It says that Sweden's SOCIALIST REPUTATION (the one American Democratic Socialists) hype up is actually FALSE.

Sweden has a robust private sector which funds social programs from the past. It has a STRONG CAPITALIST engine.

There are more American millionaires than the entire population of Sweden.

Now compare those figures with the US.

Country examples are usual pointless as you cant apply same thing from small country with small geo size to big country with big geo size. For example, Iceland is often marked as country where people are doing good stuff but Iceland only have 300k entire population and that make it pretty easy to make required changes.

You don't live in America.

You follow a shell of our culture through your media.

You are not in our culture. You are not one of us. You do not speak for us.

but i think what it really shows is that the truth is always in the middle.
and this is what makes Sweden so healthy today as they have learned to move a step forward to each other.

no radical position (no matter if left or right) can survive because it will just make the opposite side stronger.

what sweden shows is that together works and against each other does not.

they still have quite high taxes there but all what is important (health and education) is financed by the society and guaranteed to everybody that lives there - with NO exceptions.

I think Swedes first deal with migrant crisis, control rise of rapes before making comment on anyone.

because THEY HAVE LEARNED from their mistakes - americans will do the same mistakes again and again. this is why their prosperity went from no 50 to no. 4 and us prosperity from number 2 to no 17.

I had the chance to emigrate to America twice. Once when my parents asked me to move out there and join them. Twice later when I did a survey of the modelling scene in the US. Both times I turned it down on various reasons.

The Consumer addiction America has.
Culture based on what you have.
Violence.
Schools.

I prefer a laid back life, a place where the minimum work produces the best income, etc.

I did the same survey before moving to Czech it took two trips to make my mind up.

You are constantly shitting on America & California and Monday night quarterbacking.

I live in California, an hour from the border. I've lived here for 25 years minus 5 years in Australia and 2 years in North Carolina.

I tell you stuff about our economy, immigrants, illegals, the wall, etc. and you constantly tell me I'm wrong. I'm anti illegal immigration, pro border security & anti sanctuary cities. Every time we talk you act like I'm none of those things and have a far left agenda.

You live half way around the world and have an intense focus on my country, my state & my border, as if it's a sports game your following. You are contstantly posting about the things you hate about where I live, my culture, our industries, our institutions and how to fix all the problems you think we have.

The reason I get frustrated is because you don't listen to someone who actually lives here and has a lot of the same things in common with your thinking than you realize or acknowledge. You have your mind dead set on everything and totally disregard insight and facts I give you because you are agenda based on a lot of issues and when facts and my reality don't get with the agenda you're being fed, you insult me.

You act like you have nothing to learn and you know everything and you don't and you have a lot to learn, you're just not open to it unless it's from a rightwing source, and I'm trying to help you.

Give it ten years and we will see the mistakes they are making. Will they change it?

United States murder rate. 5.35 intentional homicide victims per 100,000 inhabitants.

United States of America Rape 27.3 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants.

I think part of the reason why the mix of CAPITALISM and REDISTRIBUTION works so well in Nordic countries is the CULTURE of TRUST and COOPERATION.

Watch that part about the Labor Unions in Sweden... Mind blowing.

Good luck getting that kind of understanding in other countries.

Nordic countries and culture truly are admirable. No one is perfect, of course, but they are admirable.
