I don't think its necessary to give you input on what you think happened, thats not the only response when it comes to posting informative news regarding the industry. It's to shine a light on potential business partners, employers, co workers, employees. Issues within our industry and ideally how to prevent them. News should be reported anywhere, regardless of whether the parties involved are involved on this board or not.
I occasionally post and lurk here and I have spoken to gamma regarding work in the past, i am a producer and i could have very well been working along side people involved in this. This is information I would like to be made aware of. So I can only speak for myself but I rather know about whats going on in this industry, whether i can change or it impacts me or not, than say, the other stuff that is discussed in this forum. And you never know who it may impact now or in the future
Fact is, this type of stuff occurs in the industry quite often, I am a producer myself, worked with countless talent and fellow producers. I am pretty close with a lot of talent in the industry and the type of things you hear shouldn't be happening. While I have no idea what happened with the people mentioned in this article but I can say one thing, alot of producers are attracted to this gig (attracted to it in the first place) due to the fact they get to work with pornstars and "bang them". And when you're working with an already sexual natured woman, it's very easy to take advantage of. We are way behind the times when it comes to this stuff and the fact talent is still treated like this is beyond me. Also I can say from experience that owners/producers would look the other way if they weren't directly involved because getting involved would greatly impact their bottom line
You can speak generally about the industry and instances like this without speculating on what happened in this case
I think you'd be surprised at how many people lurk here occasionally. I think its fairly naive to think nobody would care if it came out as true. While most would ignore it, as proven by past cases within the industry. However I think a lot may choose to work with somebody else if there were accusations/proof of such things like this were surrounding the person
