hegre-archives (erotica) - horrible conversions, check my gallery and FPA
 

Is anyone promoting www.hegre-archives.com ? I think it's a great site (basically EU semi-artistic erotica - nothing dodgy like MET though), but I am having trouble converting my traffic - this week my ratio is worse than 1:3500.

Traffic is a mix of TGP galleries and FPA traffic from two webcam archiving sites.

You're wondering why TGP traffic and webcam traffic aren't convering fine-art nudes?

I, for one, am pretty unimpressed with the content. Those photos really look like standard photos of naked women, nothing particularly artistic about them. That might be part of the problem.

Are you insane? His stuff is amazing... though the stuff in the gallery and FPA is awefully flat.

I do not believe I am insane. I didn't check the site because the FPA and gallery looked lame to me. Whether or not you think he is amazing, if that's a sample of his work, I am not overwhelmed by his genius.

Maybe rowan needs to pick some better samples.

Ah, fair enough. I misunderstood. Yeah, the content he use was a poor selection.

Is that better? The one on the left is Luba, Petter's wife. She has a twin sister and they both pose, but unfortunately we're not allowed to use any 'twin' sets for promotion.

That one is decent, but still a little one-dimensional to my eyes. I don't see any special use of shading or perspective or color. The only interesting thing I see is the rock. You have to decide what you think your surfers want and find the pictures that best represent their desires.

You have a point. You also need to make sure that the samples you show them accurately represent the site you're sending them to. Otherwise, you aren't filtering traffic, just pushing it.
