It's not a mere opinion piece. The founder and CEO of one of Australia's largest web companies, eviscerates Australia's economic policies and reflects on the global causes of housing bubbles. Generous references, charts, and graphs. it's a masters thesis.

The gist is, "have you heard of bumfucknowhere, australia? Nobody has. Well, it's one of the most expensive places to live in the world"

Keep in mind, this is the CEO of a billion dollar company, taking the time to write this about his own country.

At the moment the housing market is being held up by the Chinese. Bumfucknowhere are actually mining towns, but that bubble is fucked now. 2018 is going to be very interesting

I'm not sure about the economics of Australia, but if this is true it might be rough down under for a bit.
