I got Penalized by google about Sneaky mobile redirects

hey guys

my website is penalized due to "Sneaky mobile redirects" i got a message in google webmaster
i am using some ads networks including:
clickadu
admaven
poptm

which of them are risky?

hausarzt 05-03-2017 12:59 PM

Why risky?
You have set up the redirect by adding an adcode from one of your sponsors on your site. Just remove it and you are fine.
Don't blame a sponsor if you don't know what and how do use.

you are a lucky guy - the forgot you a few years because they started to penalize mobile redirects already in 2013.

RustyRanks 05-04-2017 12:05 AM

as hausarzt has said, just remove the mobile redirects and submit and reconsideration request and the penalty will be removed.

i know man, my point is about cheating ads networks. previously all of them said to me their ads are clean and there is no any mobile redirect but its not true, actually all redirects caused due to their fucking codes
i am asking which ads networks do mobile redirects on devices? i am going to remove such ads networks forever

koolaidporno 05-04-2017 01:12 PM

Neither of those 3 networks are very reliable, I personally wouldn't use any of those

that problem can happen to you with every network that allows iframe ads.
i know that they are all fighting hard against the malvertisers but it is simply impossible to get rid of that problem 100%.

I had that problem with Propellerads. Now using Ad Maven and no problem with them.

Thommy is completely right on this, altough I would suggest you use only popunder and or banner to redirect your traffic. This is way more user friendly and the quality of your traffic will increase. Likely popunder traffic is not the best quality, but still better then redirects in general.
From my point of view the quantity of the traffic will decrease if you redirect all your mobile traffic, but your quality will increase heavily, in the end you should be able to make the same kind of revenue.

what about "new tab" codes?
admaven supports a kind of ads named" new tabs" its mean when visitors click on pages it automatically opens a new tab (on both of desktop and mobile devices) is it possible google penalized due to this kind of ads?

well you missunderstood what i said - it is generally not the techique you are penalized for it is the target where a user ends up.

as you canīt check that ll the time and on all geo locations it may happen that such a site opens with a browser locker (so called tech support offers) or whatever intruding software.

especially in mobile the range of possible damages is MUCH higher as on desktops. so in fact all you can do is to find out the networks what really take care that. and infact even than you are not 100% secured because too much fraud out there.

I do not know the company what you mentioned but i can tell you that wouter is one of that guys who takes care his network and does his best to prevent damage.

another - but VERY hard way is - that you seeking offers in every country and redirect to them directly - but it is a holy shit of work and i doubt that you will have time to generate traffic anymore.

the very best solution instead of a redirect is to make the site responsive and market the adspots. clikced traffic is always better than redirect traffic and thisfor it is more valuable.

Had the same issue with Plugrush. Reconsideration request worked

palaotog 05-20-2017 07:11 AM

you can go to google webmaster and remove the link that are sneaky and then you can request for review :)
