The whole political complexion of the middle east is going to start changing now. Its a solid 10 to 20 year process. All the authoritarian governments are on notice, change or we'll change it for you.

We don't care about Zimbabwe because it has no strategic value to the world. Iraq on the other hand sits on the worlds 2nd largest oil reserves. Besides the monetary value of that vast a resource, the entire world's economic stability is affected by the supply and price of oil and to have an idiot like Saddam in command of it became to great a risk.
