anyone know these IE quirks?
IE seems to want to put unnecessary space between table data...
i'm trying to seam a couple images together in a table, and it works perfectly in netscape, but in IE it makes about a 3-5 px gap. the positioning of the image, and the other data makes it required to be 2 images, and running the main image through fireworks would change everything to gif's. that would require too much size for good quality. any ideas? :( |
besides, this is for a gallery, and portability would be a huge plus (which doesn't seem as easy with fireworks)

Add this in your table tag:
BORDER=0 CELLPADDING=0 CELLSPACING=0 That should work. ZoiNk |

Yep, you suck at basic HTML. |

i have all that, but IE is still putting space at the top and bottom of the tables... i have all the alignments on the td 's set up correctly, and like i said, it works perfectly in netscape. edit: oops! |
try putting the [/a] and at the end of the line ... ( replace [ and ] with < and > - board doesn't like them :( )
|
i pulled out the valign="bottom" and it seemed to work ok. i'll reinstert the images for the gallery and see if it still works
i'll try the , see if that works too. i usually stray from those nowadays, but i used to be very anal about them. got lazy, i guess... |
