VINCE VAUGHN was whacked in the face while waiting for his car outside a Los Angeles club on Friday in what onlookers described as a "sucker-punch." Witnesses say the actor was leaving a birthday bash held for him at The Standard hotel on the Sunset Strip when the assailant approached the 33-year-old actor from behind and said something to him. When Vaughn turned towards the suspect, he was punched in the nose. "Vince never threw a punch," his publicist said. "There was no brawl. He was just standing outside and got punched." Vaughn suffered a bloody nose and police were unable to catch the assailant.
