I have been told that they have really good prices , but they are down now ????

Anyone using them ?

We have a server with them and are quite happy so far. My server is up and running now, and my partner has been playing with it all day now. We haven't seen problems.

Heh, I think their prices were a little too good. So good in fact, they seem to have priced themselves out of business.

If a host is down when you go to check them out, it is not a good sign. There are plenty of good hosts out there, why take the risk.

Yes , but 1000 gig for 189 dollars ... do you know anyone else that can offer that ?

I think that vibehosting.com support reads the forum , let`s wait if they can explain why are the down .

almost a month and i've been
very happy with it.
It seems they've had some issues
a couple times on their own site
but it has never affected my server, or
anyone else on a dedicated server as far as i know.

Yes the main server is down quite often lately and virtual hosting clients have every right to be upset about the bad uptime the past week (we mostly sell dedicated though).

We don't know why the server goes down, we have had several cPanel crashes on it also since we upgraded it (it turned out the admin installed a beta version), the admin told me he is going to replace the motherboard on it this evening (probably already done). But note that the current server is only temporarily (Athlon XP 1600), untill we switch to a P4 or Xeon next month. We don't have enough virtual hosting clients for the main virtual server to be profitable enough for the switch.

The network is up though! So all dedicated server clients have great uptimes.

Oh and as far as I know we haven't run ourselves out of business and have been making profit since the first month. We're here to stay I'm sure, I'm not a newbie when it comes to hosting.

For galleries does it really matter if they're down 5 or 6% of the time? I wouldnt run anything production on it though.. I've had my box with them for going on 6 months now.. pretty happy for what I pay for it.

Many places could easily match that price and make a nice profit. They just choose not to.
