Lensman closed the thread for the UCumSeeMe.com Marketing 25,000 Direct Adult Traffic giveaway. Why? Well, he said it's SPAMMY (not sure what that means, see his post http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=120802).

I've received quite a few emails from people claiming "Hi, I won on GFY" but I have no way to prove that they are who they say they are, especially with different emails claiming to be the same person. We're not going to just send traffic to a person just because they email us and say, "Hi. I won on GFY".

Unless someone can figure out how we can verify the winner, we can all thank Lensman for shutting the contest down. :(

We did that. We posted the list of winners to the thread but the thread was closed. I just need someone to tell me how we can authenticate the winners. We had 5 emails claiming to be the same person on GFY. We can't run a contest like that, can we?

Out of respect for Lensman, SPAMMY (??) and dictatorship, I won't ask people to re-post their emails to this thread. We'll just have to figure something else out for the contest winners. It really sucks for a person to win something but can't collect because of a situation out of the hands of the contest starter and the contest winner.

right. so just do it again. ask everyone to post their email addy's with their nick. though Lensman will probably be pissed now, judging from the title of this thread.

Post the nick, and the 5 emails that claimed to be it.

None of my business but weird that something that makes atleast some sense gets closed while spammers selling crap lists and selling cracked software won't get their spamthread closed.
