Go to your bank and open it up. If you have good credit, you can have it opened within a few days.

must try to rip people off ..... AGAIN .

Loch 03-29-2003 08:53 PM

Thought about actually asking a bank?
Or would that be to drastic to suggest.....

Most "Local" banks are not Internet merchant account friendly. You should use a bank and processor that is very experienced in internet transaction processing.

Hi,

If you are going to get your own merchant account and don't want to just use auth.net, go with Netbilling. I have heard alot of good things about them from clients. Good fraud scrubbing, etc.

thanks

Todd

I'm still waiting to hear from your people.

The best person to talk to is your accountant.

Look, there are about a million merchant banks out there. Most small ones suck and will charge you an arm and a leg. Go with someone big and reliable like Wells-Fargo. I wouldn't trust these fly by night Net-based merchant accounts.

max.yambo 03-31-2003 05:23 PM

Stanton,

If it's not an adult business and if it's pretty big - go with an offshore scheme. Get your own offshore company, for example in BVI (~$500) and your own offshore merchant account (~$500)... Get a great discount rate and awesome tax-free scheme.

Hit me up on ICQ if you want. I will just consult you.
Good luck.
