u can drink half a carton of bourbon and coke or beer while your watching the cricket and have a bbq. i love afl and league also. all aussie sports are tops ! i think if uve played cricket u appreciate the skill level a bit more than if uve never really played.

Mate .. I played cricket and did bloody well with it, but I still find it dull. Maybe its just because Australia always wins. There is no competition.

Anyhow, any sport that allows me to drink a carton of beer is a winner imho

One day cricket makes it better for me...closer to baseball. Hubby on the other hand can spend days watching a match that turns out to be a draw...will never understand it.
