About how many pictures can a 64mb memory stick hold. Im looking into buying a sony digital camera, thanks

640 x 480 = about 350 pics


max resolution = about 70

using like no compression you'd be looking around 36, at least that's what my old olympus did, at 3.1 mp

decide what cam you're gonna get... 5mpix cam can store less pics with max resolution than a 3.1mpix cam

My newest PC has a memory stick drive built in right next to the floppy.
Of course it is a Sony PC, which compliments my Sony Monitor and Sony Digital Camera perfectly ; )

Unless you buy into having everything in your life as a Sony product, then you're paying premium prices for a technology that's not being developed by anyone else.

Compare that to the devices usig Compact Flash for example. I can buy cards, readers and various devices from whatever manufacturer I want. They just came out with 6GB compact flash cards in a type-II format and 4GB in a type-I format. Memory stick is only 18 months behind the times :1orglaugh

My last 3 PC purchases were Sony.
I've never been happier with a brand.
And, I've tried all the others, and have done the custom built route many times as well.

And for the record, there are non-Sony memory stick media, and readers available.

Also, there is no "buying into" anything, other than the reliablility I've experienced from buying Sony stuff.

Im glad 50cent came back into the rap scene with some hardcore shit keeping it real. I think hardcore rap is the best for young teenage kids (im 25 by the way,lol) It gave me street smarts and gave me a sense of how bad the world is at a young age so i grew up no expecting it to be peachy:1orglaugh . Most older people think its a bunch of loud bass, but if they ever took the time to listen to the lyrics then they could understand it. from my experience mem sticks are slow as fuck. get yourself a good compact flash card. oh yeah, and a not-sony camera.
