Good news / Bad news
Bad news: I need management. Trying to manage and do all the work completely on my own has become utterly impossible.
Good news: I got me an iron fisted project manager that's gonna help me organize and fix this shit once and for all. Bad news: No more chatting it up with me across ICQ all day about project ideas unless your project is actually on the hot seat. Please type out your ideas and stuff in an email. Sorry, but it has to be this way in order to get your projects done and outta here faster for you. Things have bogged to a crawl and that's not good for me or you. Good news: Production should move a helluva lot faster for everyone if notes, content, ideas, concerns, concepts, random thoughts, & whatnot... are sent through the project manager until you are actively in dev. Not really much different than now, except instead of doing everything, I can focus on the work instead of managing. Bad news: We're not ready just yet. Still discussing some of the finer points of dealing with certain things. Plus, this may be somewhat muddled for a few days with the current stuff going on that he has to try and organize from scratch with no contacts and very little info. Good news: Shouldn't be much longer before this is all actually in place and things smooth out. Bad news: I'm not gonna sit here 'round the clock anymore working on stuff. At 5 o'clock everyday, I'm gone baby. Good news: I'm not gonna sit here 'round the clock anymore working on stuff until my face falls onto the keyboard, always playing catch up and never reaching it. Time away from the screen brings fresh ideas and better motivation. Bad news: You're gonna be put into a queue by my project manager and held there until you're up to bat. No more jumping the line. If the wait happens to be too long, I'm sorry. Can't be fixed at this point. I'm only one guy here. Good news: No more line jumpers for you guys in the back. And seriously... this should get things moving along much better for everyone concerned, and the orders can start flowing again. the only other thing I can think of right now to add to this is, THANK GOD! Time to grow some more and get things done right and on time. Muh man is gonna be in touch with any active clients and pending stuff here real soon to intro himself and get going. Mahalo :) |

Once things grow for any business it's always good news to bring someone aboard to handle project managment etc. This allows the person or people responsable for providing the product more time to devote to and provide a top quality product in a time frame that not only makes the customer happy but also makes things easier on the provider.

anyhoo.... I'm already gettin' stoked for tomorrow... I can see how this is gonna be a major improvement for me. More work, less stress, life will be like sailing on a big happy gay cruise ship.
