When Pete Seeger passed recently I was going through my folk singer favorites and such and had completely forgotten about America, srsly. But scrolling down this thread, I think they may have been my favorite folk band/artist. I didn't realize. I had thought it was neil young.

Some of my best memories are triggered by works of these geniuses :-) thanks for sharing!
