Well definitely GFY is the place to seek medical advice.

Let me know when all the resident doctors are done with this one, so I can get my heart murmer cyber-diagnosed.

Actually Darvocet is Propoxyphene: Structurally, it's a relative of the synthetic narcotic, methadone. (For Mild to Moderate Pain) Percocet is derived from Oxycodone and therefor stronger. (For Moderate to Extreme Pain) They are even on different drug schedules. If the Darvocet isn't doing the trick ask for Vicodin or Percocet. I was given Darvocet after a tendon repair surgery and it did nothing so I told the Doc to shove the pills and he gave me a script for Vicodin ES which worked wonderfully.... but YES---It can be addictive so my best advice is use what you need to and toss the rest. There is also a non-narcotic pain killer called Ultram that works very well and has a lower addiction potential..... It is used in the treatment for chronic pain (long-term use).

I used to do copywriting for a pharmaceutical co...... Sorry to bombard you with such a long answer. Hope you get to feeling better!

yeah darvocet is addictive.
ITs a narcotic.

If excedrin works just a s well use it.

Strange to have darvocet an addictive narcotic for pain to be prescriibed for a headace.

Is this the Canadian Health Care System?

I think "Location: South Florida" might be a clue it isn't the Canadian health care system. Here you would probably get T3s for a headache! :1orglaugh
