Just for the fun fuck of it - smartest and dumbest things you ever did in this business?

For me:

Dumbest - forming a trade organization back in '96 instead of starting a paysite at a time when they made money inspite of themselves.

Smartest - same thing cuz I learned everything I did, made so many friends and important business contacts and learned more about what goes on behind the scenes than many people will ever know.

OOo OOOO!!!! YEah. I had my office info on the record for the UAS. Got some nice bomb threats and uber religious people saying they would deliver me to satan. I had a shotgun on the wall next to me in my office because I worked late hours. Actually a shotgun and a rifle up next to the desk. We had the alarm go off one night when I wasn't there... cops called me because the confiscated the guns (fucking Nazi Jersey) and I had to hire an NRA lawyer to get them back.

dumbest: instead of fighting the religious zealots in Oklahoma with all I had, I finally caved in. If I could do it all over again I'd have fought it by going to Dateline, etc. and made many more millions.

Smartest thing: Not believing my host when he said domain names are unimportant because all traffic would come from clicks in 1995 and buying cyberbabes.com in spite of him.

Dumbest thing: MAN there are so frickin' many! But each of them makes me stronger. But the biggest dumb thing may have been going into business with a pornstar in vegas to do live shows in a dungeon in 1996/1997. MAN that sucked. But again, it made me a LOT stronger.

Smartest thing you could do?
