How Can A Paysite Go Bust?
 

I have no intention of starting one anytime soon since im broke as shit, lol but ...


Lets say you open a paysite, have exclusive content and regular updates.

Now you get maybe 10-50 experienced gallery makers to make/submit your gallery all over. I mean these guys that keep talking shit how they get 10-20 signups per listing, lol


As well have 100 hosted galleries to attract the newbie "webmaster".


If the problem is getting them to promote it, then wouldnt you just jack up the pay-per payout to like $50? Or make it $35 per signup and anyone who gets more than 30 signups per period will get paid $45 each or something.

Your business plan for a paysite could explain your statement above. Man.. if it were only that easy.

My opinion is this:

If there exists at least 1 paysite out there that is better than what I could conceivably build on my own (even if I had a lot of money), then it makes business sense to partner with that paysite instead of building your own.

The second part is, there is a very high probability that such a site exists.

There are no gaurantees as to how well your program will attract new subscribers nor how long you will retain the people that do become members. Take that into account when weighing hosting costs, paying employees, time and effort on your part, fees for processing payments (third-party processors and merchant banking are not free), and other factors that cost you money.

It's not easy but it's easier to start up than your typicat brick and mortar business (at least it was years ago).

Never under any circumstances accept anything that people say to you regarding making money in this biz (or any for that matter).

The guy that 'wants to help you out' or 'show you the ropes' doesn't give a shit about you. All to often this friendly guy just wants to fuck you up the ass, metaphorically speaking.

Just to add...if you do make enough coin in a short enough period of time, you don't have to stay in porn. You may choose to start up a 'real' business or invest in stocks, ya know, whatever. This is how a pay site really goes, kick up 10-30k(porn sluts don't come cheap) Learn how to set up websites. (Because website designers are going to rape you blind) Get good with marketing. lill2rich - unless you are very experienced at such things as marketing and traffic manipulation - and you control lots of traffic - all a paysite will do for you is to turn a very large amount of money into a very small amount of money.

Now it seems to me that if you want to ask typical newbie questions - but don't like the ribbing that you get here - then you should be asking those questions on a newbie board.

i havent put the site up yet, dont plan on putting the site up until i have a few more girls. 3 girls is where i'm at now all the while doing research(looking at porn boards)
