Just wondering how many of you are stats freaks like me, I gotta check mine every 2min.

That's the worst habit you can have in this business. That and reading message boards all day.

Yeah checking stats is pretty pointless.. Like watching the numbers in the elevator

actually some sponsors I forget to check for a week or two got to quit doing that talked about my lousy conversion with one only to check stats and find out I have been doing 1:61 with them for the last two weeks :p

My friends think all I do is look at porn but its all numbers to me.

once or twice a day generally for me. figured i can spend the rest of the time trying to make more money :)

that's what I should do instead of waisting my time, last week made 35 galleries and made some good money, than this week I've taken it easy, profits are down 60%. God damn, I guess that's the prob with pps programs.

Yes totally addicted. Like sitting at a slot machine. You get a rush when you click again and more sales have been made.

Even after all these years I still get a stats high.

I remember when my first adult site passed a million visitors and I thought to myself holy shit that's like 1 out of every 300 people in the US has seen my site. It was mind bending.

Our pay per call programs peaked at 1 out of every 3 households in the US. That one really flips your mind.

I started using Stats Remote a couple of weeks ago, and I really love it.

My stats now update automatically every hour (or I can click refresh if I can't wait that long). Whenever I get a sign up, I have set it up to play a loud cheering sound.

Apart from saving me 20 - 40 minutes a day (which alone would pay for it's cost ten fold), it provides me with loads and loads of stats, which I choose to list by $ earned per unique.

Doing this has really opened my eyes as to which of my sponsors are performing shit, and which well. I sort of could work this out before - but this takes minutes rather than months, and is much more scientific.

By dumping my bad ones, and pushing my best ones a lot faster, I estimate I should be able to significantly increase my profit - (hopefully even double it!).
