I thought noticing Shania lipsing last night at the superbowl halftime show. It was noticeable when she was heading near the bleachers....

She was in and out. Lip syncing to parts of it and singing other parts. They do that alot these days :)

Every act at the superbowel does! They need to know exactly how long each act is to the second. Seeing they are dealing with 2 million dollar 30 second spots I kind of understand :)

Sure, lots of people lipsync .... but they don't make it so obvious ...

Shania's been criticized for being a "studio puppet" for her super-producer husband ...

This will just start that debate/criticism all over again ...

Gwen Stephani, by contrast, was NOT lip syncing ... for better or worse ... depending on how you look at it ...

But overall, I thought Gwen's performance was much better ... she was the star of the show ...

I'm just pissed that I missed Beyonce.
Our tv coverage didn't show the build-up to the game.

You could tell No Doubt and Sting weren't lip syncing because when the guitar first came in, it sounded dirty (in a good way). Didn't sound produced at all. Then, when the rest of the band came in, it sounded like a real 4 piece live band... It had a thin, but good sound. When Shania performed, it sounded like there were at least 20-30 different instrument sounds going on, all of which sounded very produced.

Who cares. Who the hell watches the damn halt-time show anyway.
