HAHA that's some deal. You save a whole $300 by NOT getting "4 days and 3 nights deluxe accomodation." What a joke.

Almost a thousand bucks to go to a few parties and seminars that will probably have the same people we see at the other shows? WTF? I think they went in he wrong direction trying to do this show. They should have made it really cheap ($150 or so) and got more sponsors to pitch in to share the cost. There hasn't been a big NYC show in years (the NJ CybernetExpo in '98 barely counts) and lots of people would come to a cheap show. If they get enough rooms almost every hotel will comp you the meeting space for free. That would cut their expenses down big time and just leave the parties in need of sponsorship.

I think the problem is that a sponsor is putting it on and they are probably hoping to get some exposure and business from it. No offense to ScoresCash but I think they really took the wrong road with this show. When Fay put on the CyberNetExpo in Secaucus in '98 it was a little more neutral since she was not affiliated with a sponsor. Too bad the location for the '98 show sucked major ass (although the parties in Manhattan rocked!).

The thing is way way downtown too isn't it? World Trade Center Hilton? To get anywhere decent from there is a major pain in the ass.

Ah well, no fucking way I'm paying $1,000 to attend some seminars and dinners. Enjoy yourselves :glugglug

i think Curacao was a little more then that and it included flights and we were on a tropical island.

Looks like they're trying to make this a pure profit event rather than a learning or business experience.

They have like 25 Advertising options which probably cost a fortune aswell.

The pricing for the show is a bit outlandish...

Hey Nina your party Rocked !!!!!!! I will be there next time ! As the popular opinion is for this one WTF are they charging for ?? They had posted a number of times before with the ridiculous prices, they should have learned. Make it affordable and they will come ! New York would be a great place to have a large show, but not at this cost! I am going to Negril for a week for less.:2 cents:

The prices for the NYCExpo are just way too high.

Its a shame when I first heard there was going to be a NY show. I thought great I get to show my wife NYC, she has never been there. I get to visit some old friends (I am from NY) but for the cost $2600 for the two of us. With airfare we are looking at $3000, my parents 11 day trip to italy cost the same lol. My only hope is we get invited to pretty Nina's party in NYC and we make a trip of it :)
