What was your 1st Fake ID, and where did it come from?
 

When I wanted to buy Alcohol, and was undergage, I needed an ID... Rather than 'Making One' (This is before computers) I joined a Karate Club.

They offered you a Leather Bound 'Karate Licence' as an up-sell... So I got it, and it looked really official. Even had a passport photo of me, embossed into the design

I filled in my fake Age, and signed a load of 'Belts' myself, and signed some nonsense about promising that as my "fists were lethal weapons, I wouldn't use them in anger" (lol) that was also printed inside the 'Licence' LOL

I never returned to Karate...

However whenever I purchased alcohol, I got a healthy dose of respect from the store people, who complimented me on looking so young, having achieved so much, and most importantly... Giving them a 'Proper' ID and not a silly fake one ! LOL

When I was 18 a buddy of mine worked at a bar... We went through the fakes and found one that kind of looked like me in the face (Glasses, dark hair, some facial hair)... Only problem was the guy's last name was Sanchez, and he was 5'9" and I am 6'5" and at the time was borderline albino.


For some reason thought that thing worked EVERYWHERE. Got through scanners, doormen, liquor stores... was pretty nuts.

It finally cracked a few weeks before I was 21 but I didn't really care at that point.

Not a 'fake ID' as such, but my boss would send me to places like Frys for tech stuff, and give me the company credit card. I had no photo ID myself so he would give me his Driving license...

Although he looked NOTHING like me... No one gave more than a second glance to the photo on the ID... Just having it was enough lol

Never. Over here you don't have to be 21 to be allowed to drink a beer, but 16. If a 15 year old enters a pub and orders a beer, he'll get it, no questions asked. If a 16 year old buys liquor from a store, no one will care.

So no need for fake IDs over here. No one who thinks it's "cool to be able to get beer", because it's just beer and everyone can get it. No one who thinks it's cool to get drunk etc.

My fake ID was a real ID with no picture on it, I borrowed my mates when I was 16 (he was 19) to get into discos. Required age was 18.

The control question was what sign you were born under :1orglaugh as a consequence of always using his license, is I can still to this day, remember his birthdate.

For some bizarre 'GFY FOLKLORE' type reason, I always had you mentally pegged as a canadian !

Between the ages of 14 and 18 I had no trouble getting into clubs in London, Manchester or Melbourne. I remember being denied once at the door of the Hacienda in Manchester when I was 16 (1983/1984), not because of my age but because the security guard thought I had some drugs and wanted a cut. I didn't have any drugs and got in later that night when someone else was on the door. There was so much graft running through the Uk club scene in those days that underage patrons were the last of the clubs worries.

Russia, but the same thing in most of EU countries -where I was never asked for an ID. However in the USA I was unable to buy even a beer w/o my driving license. You know, I don't look like a 20-yo boy. So it was a bit shocking to me when every fuckin' waiter who looked at least 10-15 year younger was asking for my ID.

The worst one I had was a waiter on Sunset, who wanted to see my ID before I purchase a chocolate milkshake with my meal !

I got really pissed about the intrusion, until the guy who I was dining with, reminded me I was in a GAY restaurant, and he waiter was angling for a bigger tip LOL

When I was young, it wasn't so much about clubs, cause I lived in a really rural area.. It was more about the 'Off Licence' - To buy a bottle of Whisky or Vodka etc lol

Yea same here, I used to buy beer and smokes for my dad when I was a wee lad.

I remember years ago there was on Off Licence in Barking which got done over for supplying grog and smokes to young teenagers, turned out in 2 weeks of police surveillance most of his business was from underage teens!

I used a razor blade and a magnifying glass to doctor my own license. This was before the hologram overlay of course. In the dimly lit bars, and even in the well lit distributors, it worked very well. I never tried to get into any high class clubs/bars, because of how thoroughly they looked everyone over. Simple tools and common sense :thumbsup

i nevery realy needed one but i did make a bus pass for my mate very easy to do if you have the wallet it goes in they dont check the finer points of any licence

I bought one from an ad in the paper, worked really well back then but no chance of it working now. Was a student ID for a college that never existed.

Yeah, I remember when I was 7 and playing over at a friend's house, his grandfather gave him some money to go buy him a pack of tobacco. The 2 of us walked to the store, asked for the tobacco, got it, paid for it... These days they would probably call that child endangerment or something like that :/

Mine was homemade (by yours truly) with the unknowing collaboration of a simple color copy machine at KINKOS and a pair of scissors.

I actually just bedazzled my own passport and thanks to the expertise of all those bouncers and liquor store owners in America it worked like a charm every time :thumbsup

never needed fake ID, maybe times have changed but when i was 14-18 my buddies and I got served in most places we tried, which were university/college pubs and little dives. even got into stripclubs and man, when you're 15 and a virgin and you spend the night in the front row staring at live pussy inches away, i'd go home and literally jerk off all night while it was still fresh in my mind.

You would think so... but the smart asses over there always ask for IDs even if they dont know how to check them.

Had a friend who had a relative who worked at the license bureau. Was able to secure the laminates with the ontario symbol across it. Photocopied an "of age" license used my pic from my license, and laminated with the new official laminate. Worked everytime!

My first fake ID was a terrible Maryland University College ID. For some reason this ID showed a birth date much like a license. Made no sense at all. I got it in some shitty store in NYC.

Being that I didn't have my first drink until I was 23 meant I had no other reason for this ID other than strip clubs! haha

I used to borrow my elder brothers ID to get into clubs :D
