HIGH-END GFX Specialist available for IN-HOUSE position, REMOTE preferred?

Happy Holidays!

Instead of reviving a near-2 year old thread I figured we?d start fresh. My last post received a ton of love from past clients, those whom I have worked with and those who respect what I do. Once again, I find myself in a position where I am seeking full-time work. There's work to be had, people are hiring quality workers and that makes us a very good match, indeed!

You can learn a lot about me from the above linked thread. As for my resume and portfolio, check my sig. My portfolio is a bit thin on the adult side as the overwhelming majority of the adult work I have done over the last couple of years has been for other design firms?but rest assured, I can do the job:

I have been remote in-house for SIC Cash, PimpRoll/AdultElite/porn.com and others?and IN-HOUSE for AEBN here in Charlotte. I have designed many of the sites you promote, love and make money with. I have designed for dozens of Cash Programs since 1997 and I have been a hired gun for MANY of the design houses posting here, past and present, including AAA Adult Design, Blue Design Studios, Wyldesites and Zuzana Designs.

I am looking for a PERMANENT opportunity! If you have a real opportunity please give me a shout on Yahoo (gfxwiz_michael), Skype (apgfx.michael) or ICQ (148 167 599) and let?s talk about it!

I will, of course, also quote any projects you have on a freelance basis. I just want to work! :)

Thanks for looking!
~Z~

Michael comes highly recommended. He did a ton of work for me when I had AAA Adult Design, and has since done a good amount of contract work for me. His work ethic and design quality are 2nd to none! To top it off, he can has PHP and mysql skills as well.

You won't find a better designer - Period!

As always, you're too kind to me, Mike. I appreciate it :)

Zayne E. 12-27-2010 09:04 AM

Bump for the Holiday hangover crowd. Still sitting on one good bite for a month out but looking for something to pan out sooner. Also taking design orders :)

Platinumpimp 12-27-2010 09:09 AM

I dunno why a talented guy like you is actually looking again. Best of luck to you Zayne, I'm sure you will get a nice gig soon.

Hey...I appreciate that. Like I said...there's work to be had. Sometimes we go to work for people and their situation changes or it just ends up being a poor fit. When that happens, you just have to grin and start over :upsidedow

My biggest problem is I have been out of the freelance game to the public eye for so long (pretty much since I went in-house for AEBN back in '04!). Since then I have either been on contract with a company or taken overflow from other designers/design firms. If I had kept my name out there I am sure I'd just be plain, old busy as I always was. But I didn't -- and I'm not!

Zayne E. 12-30-2010 02:15 PM

A little bump while I await to see if the tentative offer I received pans out today...

Zayne E. 01-07-2011 08:44 AM

Here's a bump...I'm still looking. I do excellent mainstream work, too:

SexKey Scott 01-07-2011 11:23 AM

Why would he do that? He didn't write it like that. He indicated "IN-HOUSE, <-- COMMA REMOTE preferred".

mudsaliva 01-07-2011 06:50 PM

very inspiring work :)

Hey wdsguy...yes, plenty! Check this out. Likewise, if you click this link in my sig and scroll to the bottom you'll see work from all areas of the web there.

I'm looking for a full-time position with a stable company. I prefer working remotely as my life is here in Charlotte...and my son has special needs which are being met here making me extremely reluctant to upset his little world for something unknown. For what I do, how I do it and the results I produce, remote should work out just fine. And I tend to put in a much longer day when I am sitting here than when I'm working a 9-5. It can be hard to separate home life from work when they're located within the same 4 walls...but, what can I say? I love what I do so it's hard to separate myself from it anyway :)

Sexgenoten 01-08-2011 08:11 AM

Crap, wish i could design like that!

Goodluck man!

Remote is the best! You just have to have strong ethics and self management :thumbsup

Denny 01-08-2011 01:03 PM

Zayne E. 01-09-2011 08:41 AM

Thanks for all the compliments and well-wishes. I am currently working on a trial project for a prospective employer...still accepting offers until I have something concrete :thumbsup
