$250 Design Contest - 120x60 NATS button
 

Hey everyone! With the release of NATS v2 we need a nifty new 120x60 button made. The winner(s) of this contest will receive $250 for their work. We will pick at least one winner. Unlike many contests lately we will only use the work which we pick as a winner and pay. Again, we will ONLY use the work we pick as winning and pay for.

www.getnats.com/logonats.eps is the logo

The button will be 120x60

Must be a gif or jpeg, no flash

It can be animated

It should mention version 2.0

$250 for a 120x60? Damn that's a nice contest

can you send us an e-mail of a more detailed description on what you really wanted, such as byte size and stuff... or maybe if possible give us an idea... we are a group of artist quite new in this so hope you can assist us a bit :)

Yes we did. Adult RMX was the winner and we are beginning work with him next week on the new default affiliate look. It was delayed becuase of the v2 release. Things have been very hectic over here with v2 and a few new products we are releasing shortly.

We won't be emailing any info as this is a public contest not something we will be doing privately with people to give advantages, etc. Any questions you have you need to ask here.

As far as byte size. We obviously don't have an exact size in mind :) 1k would be too small and 100k would be too big. You should know as a designer what is managable and what is not for a 120x60 :) There are no specific file size requirements or limitations on this one.

I'll join in but I have to know the maximum byte size. 60kb/80kb as posted seems incredibly much for a 120x60 button.

I didn't mean to bash your entry because it looks great. Was hoping for some input from Nats on this. But I guess you're right, it doesn't really matter as the buttons are targetted to webmasters. :)
