Whoa... I just watched my neighbour die
it's 11.20pm Eastern time, and the lady next door comes screaming and knocking at my door. Her hubby is having a heart attack she thinks. I tell my wife to call 911 and I run over and he is lying on the ground just staring at me. He was pronounced dead at the scene... Im fucking shaking as I type this..
I feel fucked up right now. seriously cannot believe it. |
:(

I have seen death a couple times. It haunts you forever
|

She's feeling alot worse right now. Make sure you take the
time out tomorrow to go an sit with her for awhile. |
Viewing trauma such as that can be hard...
I saw a lady right after she got hit by a train.. that was not fun.. kinda changed my view on life a little after... |
That sucks... How long did it take for help to arrive? Did you guys give any chest compressions beforehand?
|

I seen my neighbour after he killed his dog and blew off his head with a shotgun about 20 years ago. I also seen a dude get his head run over by a truck while on his motorcycle,I always remeber that like it was yesterday ,when it happened so many years ago.I'm sure people have seen worse |
I remember when I was 17 and saw this young man (maybe in his twenties) lying on the ground holding his head and rolling back and forth. He had just been shot in the head with a .22 and you could see the pain and anguish on his face. I felt helpless because there was nothing I could do to help him and I heard that he died later that day because the ambulance never got there in time.

I close friend of mine died in his sleep too, still...life goes on...all of us in life are stronger than death ...proof is in the puddin' lol. Glad you didnt take my post personally though cause it wasnt meant to be mean cheers |
Just shows us life is too short. Sad to hear you had to go through that. :(
|
...on a lighter note...after i read about your motorcycle story..lol.. I know a guy (who didnt die...) but T-boned a car and his body was flung into the side door of a van (he was on a bike) and now he has the imprint (like a chalk outline of his body...) on the door and it hangs over his couch in his living room...its so funny and a grat converation piece.
None the less I hope SeX can get on with things :) |
Damn man, sorry to hear that.
|
Yes seeing someone die in front of you is very hard.
When I was about 12 or 13 I saw my father die in my mothers arm, it wasn't fun at all. Specially seeing a love one pass on right before your eyes...Just stay positive man. |
My husband died right in front of my eyes, he was sitting in his wheelchair and not breathing too well.. I was holding his breathing machine up so he could take a treatment, and his head was slumped onto his chest mouth open.. I didn't realise he'd stopped breathing until I saw how white he was, I felt his cheeks and they were cold and his lips were blue, no heartbeat, and he wasn't breathing.. omg.. I was was in panic..
I tilted his head back held his nose and breathed into his mouth a few times, his lungs made a rattling sound when I did that.. and he started to come back. All three of my kids were there with me, one holding his head up one holding the nebulizer to his mouth, and one holding his shoulders so he wouldn't fall out of his chair. After a few minutes of that, we lifted him onto his bed, and continued to give him the medicine then called 911.. they came and took him to the hospital, and he died a very slow and awful death 5 days later. I wish I'd let him die the first time.. it was awful he had emphysema and very bad asthma.. and yes.. he smoked.. everyone asks me that I never want to go through something like that again.. I hope I don't have to |

If you haven't already, you might think about taking some CPR courses - the next time something like that happens you will be better prepared to help. What if it was one of your loved ones and you didn't know how to help them?

seeing death up close does stay with you - when i was about 8 i saw them bring up a drowned kid who got caught in an undertow in the canal where we swam and we were told not to. he was blue and i can see the whole scene 30 years later in my mind.
I also saw an elderly man die of a heart attack on a driveway down the street. it doesn't haunt you really but it does stick in the memory. my mother watched a man fall from a 17th floor hotel balcony on vacation in Colombia - 10 feet away from her poolside. SPLAT! She was haunted by it for about 6 months, she had lots of nightmares for awhile. |

so sorry you had to go thru that. I'm at a loss for words except that experiences like these help us appreciate the loved ones we have in our lives so try to take that out of it
