How much is a pack of cigs in your country and for how much you find them online?
Is it worth it and is it actually legal to buy them like that, cause infact you are avoiding taxes, right?


Also, do you go for the orignal ones, that go for about $50 per box (10 packs) or buy the east europe fakes that go for about $20 per box?

in a few weeks th PACT Act goes into effect and you cant buy em anymore online from indian places in US

It makes it Illegal to ship ANY tobacco product through the US Mail, Fedex, UPS. No more buying online. Congress pushed it through under the radar and Obama signed it, under the radar.

tobacco is pretty cheap in my country so there's no interest of buying it online...

My hubby still smokes (I quit years ago) and he freaks when he goes to a gas station to buy them. Almost 9 bucks a pack!. In NY they are 10 bucks a pack!. Watching him try to quit is like watching a cartoon. He gets all aggravated and stuff. In New Hampshire, Basic lights are $53 a carton. They are made my Philip Morris so they are pretty much Marlboros. When we go visit his mother in Vermont, we make a side trip to NH to buy smokes for him.

The sad part is the states are so stupid that they keep raising he tax on smokes so people quit and then they dont make the tax money they thought they would make. If some states were smart, (aint gonna happen since its the government), they would lower the tax so they are cheaper than the surrounding states. Then smokers would come to that state and buy smokes. Then end result would be the state would make a shit load on smoke tax.

I think I will drop the hint about quitting to my husband again. It will make for some good laughs!...

contrary to what you would expect, cigarettes in the philippines are quite good. They dont have that carpet glue that american cigarette manufacturers add to their rolling papers. The glue acts as a fire retardant. making the cigarettes die off by themselves when accidentally left lit or dropped by someone whose fallen asleep.

In any case, its non of my business cause I've already quit the cancer sticks. I'm on my 2nd week and I hope I never go back.
