Keep in mind most of this is 1960s technology.... At least the AC-130 is. They used to cause holy hell with the AC-130. They used to call them "Spooky" because you would never see them or here them.

The amount of ammo used to kill one person by the US military is actually surprising. I've read anything from 13k rounds to 50k rounds to kill one enemy.

thats quite misleading given that the very purpose of a machine gun in addition to nearly all automatic fire is suppression, not "killing" the enemy.

Yeah I agree. That prototype for a mech warrior needs more prototyping. It's not a traditional bot though because it isn't autonomous.

The West and the East don't operate by the same ROE. Treating pirates as naughty civilians vs as enemy combatants.
