Westminster wins the prize for stupidity.
The wonderful politicians in Westminster have decided that if the EU doesn't give them a better deal, the country will not leave the EU. Something the EU wants.
It'son par with the Protection racket scheme. The one that was dreamed up by morons. If you don't pay, we worn't beat you up. Will the EU give in to this threat? |

There needs to be another referendum, I'm fairly sure by now that most fellow UK citizens who voted for Brexit will have soured to the idea.

So fuck up the negotiations, then get another referendum to deliver the vote you wanted in the first place.

Taking No Deal off the table, Labour's tactic and most MPs, ensures getting a bad deal. Why should the EU give a good deal if there's no upside to it? All the disruption on the UK side with a No Deal will be reflected on the other side of the channel. Huge queues of lorries at Dover and Calais. Fewer exports to the UK of food produce in Europe. Less cars, vans, lorries sold in the UK and EU. Far less money coming into the pot from the UK. And so on. So if the UK removes the threat of a No Deal. The UK stays and nothing happens. |

let´s keep this statement for the day when it comes to a second vote. hopefully you will just admit that you have no clue and not find another excuse when it goes in the opposite direction.

Both sides lied. Brexit will cost the UK money initially. Long term it will be better for the UK. That doesn't matter, freedom is worth paying for. You refuse to address this. Do you think Germany will rule the EU with a powerful politician like Merkel in the front. Do you think the rules Brussels passes will always be for your good, do you think your living standards will improve, what is it that makes the EU so great? Stefan can offer us a reply on why the EU is so great. |

So is Putin's Russia the only one that has it right on earth Paul?
You want Americans to bend to Putin & Trumps will. You want NATO disbanded You want the EU disbanded. What's in it for you Paul, in Czechoslovakia? You can't afford to live in the U. K. You'll never live in America. |

pauls hypothesis: the UK, alone, will get better deals but no EU country can actually make a deal with the UK alone because the EU is a union and you deal with them all...alarming error in logic right there...so in real life it gets to negotiate with the same union it left but with greatly reduced leverage...how does that improve things?
they save 20$/month per person BUT they stunt their GDP growth 35% lower than fuck hole serbia...how was that a good deal? this is going to be another one of those emperors invisible clothes things...magic beans got sold tho

Stefan can offer us a reply on why the EU is so great. Answering with a question only shows you have no reply. One of the things that directly effects me. Freedom of movement has allowed countries like Germany and the UK to poach people from doctors to van drivers. Making it harder here. Your turn. |

You would think the vote was 90 / 10, or 70 / 30 even. This fact is that the vote was very close, and like Trump would have been very different without the lies and external interference. 49% of voters wanted to remain in the EU, and all the ardent Brexiteers ( like you ), are terrified of another referendum because you know the electorate is considerably better informed now than it was in 2016. I would not squeal about democracy too much if I was you Paul - you might be getting another dose of it very soon. Tell us Paul - how did you cast your vote in the last referendum ?

The catastrophe was giving any of them a say. Because when May came back with the only acceptable deal to either side, UK and EU. They rejected it in huge numbers, even though they were the reason she got such a bad deal. Now most want No Deal off the table without saying what deal is acceptable. |

the EU is not a dictatorship - and at least one that would be ruled by UK. that´s why you are pissed. everything that is decided there have a majority of votes and many of those votes have been against german interests. but looks as we can handle democracy easier as you can and even accept things that does not match with the german point of view. btw. you did answer stefans question with the same question back. don´t you have arguments or did you not find some in your fake news sources ? it´s time for some arguments markham - your stupid trolling gets boring. |

Appearing before MPs last month, Association of British Insurers director general Huw Evans said it could be “illegal” to pay pensions to many retired British expats if the UK crashes out of the EU without a deal.“That is a perfectly plausible risk in the future if no agreement is reached in some countries of the EU,” he said. --- No soup for you. |

My problem with the EU is what it is and where it's heading.
It's a great idea on paper, all those nations trading and living under one umbrella. The problem is the one umbrella is badly set up, badly run, undemocratic and perpetuates rules to justify it's existence in an endless stream of bureaucratic paper churning. https://www.google.com/search?ei=i8p...10.YXNiaBda6dE It makes no difference if some were generated by British bureaucrats, they're still bureaucrats who think like the rest. But Thommy doesn't see the obvious. My fear is what it's set it's course on. A United States of Europe. Where one central government rules, with no checks and balances. Able to pass laws of some Utopian Dream state, but unable to tackle or even get the big questions right. There's no second house in the EU parliament, no checks and balances. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/mat...b_9514608.html This article tries to support the EU as democratic yet fails. https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/top...nion-1-5436421 It takes too much time criticising the UK and not enough justifying the top jobs. I've heard that Czechoslovakia is beautiful. There is beautiful architecture in Czechoslovakia and Czechoslovakian men are gorgeous. Paul never says a bad word about Czechoslovakia or Russia but constantly trashes the UK, EU, Canada & America.
