I respect and observe your opinions, noted.

We let our content, the prices and the automatic download system by FTP to speak for itself. There is little to no interaction with anyone, you literally do it all yourself. Thats why we have over 50 orders a week, its a "do it yourself" operation for those who orders and keep ordering again and again and again.

The drama here in this threads, are 99% from people who know nothing about us, have not ordered from us in years or are competitors with their own sad motives.

We are a content licensing company, not a daytime soap opera. NO ONE has better content that, no one more premium content than us and no one can match our prices. If you dont want to order from us based on made up drama and non-sense thats fine.

So if the new team sees someone from years back posting they were scammed, would it be unreasonable to assume we would be able to pick up the phone and make a call to Loryn or Keith and get the real story.

My opinion is it was definitely a mistake to allow him to have the press release issued stating he was the president of the company. As for why he lasted so long. The prior owner has admitted he checked out a little after 2014 when the new FTP system was setup. He got involved with other projects and simply let Ackerman run wild, thinking the system is automated so how much damage could he or would he do. It's only after new ownership got involved, started an audit of just Bluebird Films deals and the web started to unravel. Prior owner was hurt by the betrayal and it affected the final buyout price, so I'm quite sure its caused a lot of anger also.

But it's in the past. We are honoring all deals Ackerman did, as long as people come forward now and we don't find out about it through legal or DMCA means.

Our site is running great, we are getting orders daily, the download system is flawless and fast, our content is the best there is and our prices are unbeatable. So despite all the soap opera drama and professional opinion writers, things are going very well. We have removed a bad apple, replaced him with stability and good people and AFSC will continue to thrive.

It would have been reasonable to assume if you had approached the situation with caution knowing you were getting a biased perspective from the previous owners who might not be telling you the whole story. There are no customers posting in this thread, thats kind of the point. Our customers love the deals they get, love the ease of picking/paying/downloading. We treat our paying customers great. In 99% of cases, you dont interact with us at all. You go to the site, you pick, you pay, you download. Sorry, but I dont see any drama in that, and its been this way since 2014.

If its arrogant to call someone out on a lie and if it's attitude to defend yourself when people make things up, then yes we are guilty of both and if defending our business against mistruths is so offensive to you, then we apologize to you personally but we won't change out tone in those matters. No, it wasn't the point at all. The point was to alert people that someone was removed from the company after it was learned he did deals on behalf of the company, but without the companies knowledge and without paying the company. Alerting those customers they would be subject to DMCA and legal takedowns unless they contacted us direct and received a proper license direct from AFSC. We have plenty of customers and we aim to keep them happy.

Steve, get yourself straight. We are not interested in alleviating any of your concerns. You're not a vendor, you're not a customer... you're a guy looking to drum up some business for youerself and did so by lying. AFSC did a deal with you many years ago and the content was not as advertised, or should I say "some aspects were left out of the description".

That would have been find and dandy if you had initially just stated you were distancing yourself from Ackerman and helped those that bought your content from him. However, creating this whole scenario about brand new ownership so you could distance yourself from your past mistakes, turned out to be a huge mistake. It just reinforces the dishonesty your company has displayed over the years that has kept many content buyers from doing business with you.

Rebranding before a relaunch would seem like the most obvious thing to do had there actually been an ownership change, which further reinforces that there hasn't been one.

However bad or not Ackerman may of been (or still being) Keith O Connor before him was way worse... The company were ripping people off all over the place...

So I have been sorting through some of the old stuff I kept on hard drives, alas my record keeping back then isn't as great as it is now... But bottom line I do not expect to get the money owing to me, as I said AFSC is still run by the same people... so why would I lol...

It looks like the original deal was actually done in 2011, maybe even 2010 (Yeah I know shit records) I have an invoice here for November 2011 where Keith tells me to send the invoice in the name of Anthony Simone, and the company name Moviesets.net Inc... and spins me some story about funds from DVD Advance coming in...

But I believe that's the invoice for the remaining 50%... $6000. I am sure I will still have the original invoice somewhere and will endeavour to find it, so I can work out the date the original deal did actually take place...

I did also find a email to and from Loryn Taylor who I believe was like a sales Rep, knowing the company they probably gave her a super cool title, like Corporate VIP Sales Director... There's also a guy called Tristan Brewer in the email, who I believe was also a cog in the AFSC company...

The email was dated Feb 5th 2012, and I mention in it that the money ($6000) has been owing for over 2 years at this stage

Tristan mentions some company Platinum X and the owner Ralph Ceglia as one of the buyers of the content I'd sold, and that a deposit was due to be paid... not sure if they are still about today, but going to drop them a line as got his supposed email here... I seem to remember having a rather interesting conversation before with Ralph, but cant find the emails, so definitely need to chat to him again if he's still about...

The email bounces about a bit, Keith gets involved for a bit asking what's owing (yes even after over 2 years) even om 26th October 2011 (so in theory after having the content for over 2 years) there is no mention of not paying lol...

So do I expect to get my $3500, hell no... do I expect sympathy, not really I am way too big and ugly to worry about hugs... Do I expect to get a few sales because of this exposure, hey business is business so that would be a bonus lol... but that's not the reason I am doing it... companies like this should not be allowed to do what they do, as a community hopefully most feel this way...

I also tried to find Loryn Taylor as AFSC said they were waiting to reply to my posts after not only speaking to Keith O Connor but Loryn too... I tried to find her but her Skype and ICQ accounts seem to have been inactive for a long time... I have messaged her on both just incase she still logs in but from what I can see she doesn't...

Likewise her Twitter and Facebook pages have not been used in over 18 months... shame would love to have spoken to her about what went on...

That being said just found a few more emails from Loryn from back when all this was going on... so should make for some interesting reading lol...

Also even funnier, in 2014 I was contacted again by AFSC by Anthony trying to buy more content... and then 2016 by Brandon Ackerman trying to buy more content...

I dont agree. In March we started making plans for the transition of ownership and Ackerman was still deeply involved working on sales deals. There was no "whole scenario". We announced then to existing customers we were changing ownership, and in doing so there would be changes to the content, changes to site design, changes to user functionality - that was it.

It wasn't until last week that it was learned what Ackerman had done and some of the parties he was involved with.

So call it what you wish. We chose to get rid of Ackerman and alert people to the potential of bad deals he has made and to contact us.

It was a very simple release, that some of the irrelevant yoohoos on the board decided to turn into an episode of Real Housewives. Our customers have responded well and thats all that matters.

But I believe that's the invoice for the remaining 50%... $6000. I am sure I will still have the original invoice somewhere and will endeavour to find it, so I can work out the date the original deal did actually take place... I did also find a email to and from Loryn Taylor who I believe was like a sales Rep, knowing the company they probably gave her a super cool title, like Corporate VIP Sales Director... There's also a guy called Tristan Brewer in the email, who I believe was also a cog in the AFSC company... The email was dated Feb 5th 2012, and I mention in it that the money ($6000) has been owing for over 2 years at this stage Tristan mentions some company Platinum X and the owner Ralph Ceglia as one of the buyers of the content I'd sold, and that a deposit was due to be paid... not sure if they are still about today, but going to drop them a line as got his supposed email here... I seem to remember having a rather interesting conversation before with Ralph, but cant find the emails, so definitely need to chat to him again if he's still about... The email bounces about a bit, Keith gets involved for a bit asking what's owing (yes even after over 2 years) even om 26th October 2011 (so in theory after having the content for over 2 years) there is no mention of not paying lol...
