An Iraqi asylum seeker who detonated a homemade bomb on the Tube at Parsons Green in a bid to maim and murder commuters during morning rush-hour is facing life in prison today.

Ahmed Hassan, 18, plotted “carnage” on the Underground with an improvised device he had filled with a volatile explosive and packed with 2.2kgs of metal shrapnel.

The teenager rigged the bomb with a modified kitchen timer, set to explode at Parsons Green station as scores of passengers headed to work on September 15 last year.

Iraq-born Hassan sneaked into the UK less than two years earlier, telling the Home Office in January 2016 he had been “trained to kill” by ISIS after he was forced to join the extremist group in his native Iraq.

Why the fuck was he given asylum in a country he clearly hated?

Why did the authorities fail to notice that he was a terrorist?

Why are we allowing people trained to kill by ISIS into the West?

Even during his trial he lied and blamed others, he didn't have the guts to commit suicide. Maybe someone can help him to carry that out in prison. Or better still send him back to Iraq.

I agree Iraq was a massive mistake. The UK didn't eat US ass. Blair did and look how rich it made him. A numbskull who ruined the UK. He also lied to the country. Like Bush did, compared to Bush Trump is a win.

I would live in the UK. If there weren't so many migrants. I prefer Czech because they have a minimal benefits scheme and you need to live here for five years to qualify. So very few migrants and none doing low skilled work or unemployed.

How does that compare to the US?
