Lol, flat nonsense. You are in the battlefield, my friend. You'll never know if a certain creative materials will give you a sky-high ROI or a severe ban by Facebook moderators. Right now there is only one way to check up your creative materials - to TEST them.

Basically your testing strategy should look like this:

STEP 1: Create 15-20 unique creative materials. Use different combinations of images and headlines for that is the best way to find the winning combo.
STEP 2: Run these creative materials for a couple of days to see which of them has/have highest CTR.
STEP 3: Finally select 1 or 2 creative materials with the highest click rate and it is basically done.

DISCLAIMER:
We are sure aware that using spy tools will be faster in most cases. However, we are not seeking any shortcuts since we want all tips for your attention to be backed with knowledge. Plus a good spy tool is rarely free, and we spare your expenses.

Some tips for making a good creative material.

To begin with, you should have some basic Photoshop skills. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you to watch a couple of videos on youtube to understand what layers are and how to edit them.

As it was said above, unfortunately there is no ultimate formula for making a good creative material. But in most cases it should be:

1) Bright and interesting. Therefore, animated banners usually win over static banners. But don't push too hard. You don't want a banner to be flashing like a Christmas tree.
2) Contrast. Quieter colours in the background and brighter coloured fonts with call to action buttons are preferred.
3) Informative. If images contain text, remember that a short clear message works better than long complicated sentences in small hardly readable characters.
4) Inviting. Call to action buttons will definitely be a huge plus.
5) Positive. As it's known, banners with a positive message and overall positive attitude usually have higher CTR.
6) No misleading. If you will promise a fortune to everyone who clicked on your banner, it may produce a better CTR but your final conversion rate would be low as hell.
7) Credible. Appeal to an authority that people trust. For example, like: Â«Rated number one by pediatrics associationÂ».

To conclude, my word of advice is - be really careful with your creatives materials, especially if you are a newbie in CPA marketing. And bear in mind, all technics that we discussed above remains just a theory. You should go out into the battlefield and TEST. This is the only way to verify if your creative materials are good or not.

So, it’s rather easy to find your target audience. In our case, it was planned to transfer FB moderators to this article. The tool developed by him, similar to Keitaro, was applicated to avoid banning. You may wonder — a publisher from Russia creating articles for TH? That’s true — he has friends who are Thai native speakers, so, his article and creative materials were done properly.

TRAFFIC FLOW

The advertising campaign was set up for the male audience of 45+. And don’t forget to exclude doctors from “interests” because they may report your ad much more often than others.

The first day was devoted to testing different creative materials, but the CTR was not so good — about 2-3%. Finally, the suitable options were founded that gave the CTR 7%.

After split testing, it was time to scale up the campaign and increase the budget by 70% daily. We need to keep in mind, that scaling up is aimed to raise revenue, not to increase ROI. That’s why during scaling up ROI can drop but we will get more money and ROI will improve later.

There are two scale up methods when it comes to Facebook Ads:

2) Duplicating Ad Set

We have been deeply distressed by the fact that our public, in most cases, does not listen to what we recommend to help. You would think, our advice just makes no sense or useless but let’s not forget that there is always some positive feedback from those ones who tested it, after all.

Experience has shown that only a few of affiliates use our Facebook tips, try to run new profitable offers and put into practice our advice. Others perceive this as entertaining content, not as really professional and helpful, unfortunately.

That’s why we decided to do an interesting experiment.

We leak something really important and useful, right here, right now. No sane person would tell it to everyone for nothing. Usually, there is someone who sells helpful info and tips and it doesn’t come cheap, as well as doesn’t always work out.

So what’s the deal? We snatched some really valuable info from our call-centers. There’s a chance that we will get in trouble but doesn’t that make it more interesting, huh?

Attention, DISCLAIMER: our VIPs have been using this for the last 6 months so they have squeezed all of it. But you all still have a chance to make a really good profit if you hurry. Okay, cut to the chase.

Do you know what Morocco is famous for? It’s only famous for the fact there’s nothing to be famous for. Business there is difficult to run and frankly, demand for advertising is pretty low. A FRIENDLY WARNING: our today’s post is not really tolerant. We don’t want to offend anyone or to point out some… weaknesses, but there’s no getting away from it, so we say sorry in advance.

Time goes by and affiliates are still asking what offers they should run traffic to in Asia (but not Thailand, Malaysia or Vietnam, of course). Everybody understands that there are a few good offers but more enterprising ones already run traffic to them and feel great, making easy money.

Diet Stars, for example. The second we said this offer is breaking records, everyone started to run traffic to it. Also, people really liked our Morocco insights, but we know that pretty soon the lead cost will go right through the roof.

So what’s this all about? It’s time to prepare reviews at other GEOs.

The Philippines — mobile internet coverage area is really huge, young population but not very bright people. With a population of more than 90 million people, they have an average I.Q. of 86. Well, this fact helps affiliates, because the population of the Philippines is the people who order our favourite COD offers.
And, unlike Indonesia, mobile Internet is available throughout the whole country there.

Now, get to the point. In a word, the Philippines is some kind of a mix of Vietnam and Thailand offers. VN-traffic is cheap, there is lots of it, but conversion rates there are really low. TH-traffic is expensive, payouts are very good but it’s much harder to get profit there.
Average cost per click in the Philippines is about $0.02-$0.04. Conversion rates range from 0.5% to 1.5%. The saddest thing is that people there don’t go for adult offers. At all. That is weird but there is nothing you can do.

Well, they are obsessed with a healthy lifestyle. It exists at the level of a national idea — keep your apartment as clean as it’s possible, what and when you eat, etc. Also, they are hung up on «parasites» so Detoxic, for example, is popular there year-round.

Now let’s talk about how to run traffic there.

White-hat options are not profitable at all. This needs an aggressive pre-lander and banners with celebrities. And don’t waste your time on local celebrities — they are such bores.

ATTENTION: Don’t use any materials without changing something. This girl has a confirmed blogger-account on Facebook so you can be banned after the very first creative material.

Also, you can make really cool pre-landers using a local TV-show called «Salamat Dok». It is a weekend morning show where three show’s hosts talk about healthy lifestyle. Use those hosts for creative materials and you can make your pre-landers in the style of the show. There are lots of episodes on YouTube. By the way, those episodes can be fully inserted in pre-landers. Nobody will watch this until the end but it definitely will enhance the credibility.

You can make creative materials in both local (Filipino) and English languages. But we recommend using Filipino there.

Speaking of the approval rate and targeting.

The approval rate is pretty unstable. The rate varies from 33% to 55%. Nobody knows what this is about, even call-centre operators. And as a tradition, we give you the statistic from our call-centres:

Recent GEO reviews were all about Europe. So this time we decided to change it up a bit and so we are going to talk about Asia, namely, about China.

Back in 2009, China blocked access to Facebook, Twitter and restricted access to Google.

Actually, bypassing the Golden Shield is possible, but very few people do it because it’s really hard. Affiliates are confused and afraid because they don't know where to get traffic from. Don't worry, the Chinese have their own search engines, messengers, social networks. Let's see.

First, China has its own Baidu search engine, its messengers, social networks. By the way, Baidu is one of the largest sources of traffic in the country, so you better pay particular attention to it.

Secondly, Wechat and Weibo. These ones are messengers and 90% of communication in the country occurs there. Also, Wechat is the most popular mobile app (given that there are more than 600 million mobile internet users in China). Every company has an account on this network.

In fact, many IT companies in China copy the original design and concept of blocked apps and resources and release their copies with a different name. And do a really good profit. However, there arises a problem of the language barrier arises - only 1% of the Chinese knows English on a fairly good level to use international services. The point is that it's better to make ads in Chinese, and also one piece of advice - do not translate into Chinese by yourself. Don't forget it's not informal communication, it's advertising where the right message is very important.
