hmm I was caught with a scam a few months back where a webmasters husband needed medical treatment as well. I don't know any of the webmasters here or at least not these handles ;)

Anyway I am going to rely on my gut and I have just sent you a few dollars for Ron's treatment. If there is still a shortfall in a weeks time keep this thread alive and I will send some more.

I feel wierd about this thread because hell, half of us have a family member who is sick im sure... just as you mentioned. My cousin died two months ago after a long shitty bout with Lupus.

It all boils down to this for me though. I would have never been able to get to where I am today without MuleScrote, and since I can help, im gonna. And everyone else who is helping out, dont think for a second that I dont realize that you have problems of your own. I do. You all have my sincerest gratitude for your support.

Thanks Kevin, your gut feeling was right ( i always trust my gut instinct as well ;). MuleScrote will be keeping all doctor bills, records of who sent what, and everything. I told him that was required for me to put my reputation on the line here and ask for help. This is going to have a happy ending, noone is going to be buttplugged.

And If ANYONE wants to contact me due to hesitation, please feel free to send me an email and i will call you, and im sure i can arrange a call to even the doctors themselves. Hell if you dont want to send the money to PayPal, i will get MuleScrote to give the doctors address and a personal check could be sent there. 6foot4...thanks for the great support. It wasn't long after I met Mikey that we developed a working relationship, I know an honset guy when I meet one. He had plenty of chances to "buttplug" me along the way and I could have done the same, but we don't operate like that.

I know I don't know many of you very well since I am relatively new to this board, but I have been in the biz for almost 3 years now so I know I have bumped into several of you along the way. Mikey and I are working on some big things, and soon I hope everyone will know who MuleScrote is. If nothing else, I am meeting some wonderful people here. It makes me proud to say I SELL PORN!!

AWU, so that was determined to be a hoax? what ever happened with that? i read some threads on other boards, but there was never any conclusion to it. Did anyone ever get justice? I remember vaguely when that happened, my customers had me send content to them for design, and then one day the emails started bouncing. i did not know until yesterday though that the whole thing was a con job. I love reading about dirt, im gonna search some more boards about that :)

Mikey the guy was Mark and his wife Nan. They built up a solid reputation over a few months with all the other webmasters on AVSF.

Nan then posted that Mark was ill and needed money for treatment so a whole lot of webmasters helped out. The next thing she posted that Mark had passed away and everyone was stunned and she offered all their sites for sale, even listed photographic equipment of Marks for sale on ebay.

I had Marks "brother" ICQ me and asked how much Mark owed me and what he should do with the content that I had given to Mark to develop downloadable AVS sites. I felt sorry for Nan so I said they could keep the money they owed and all the money from the AVS sites they built to sell to webmasters.

The next thing there were rumours and then the whole lot was exposed. I know that one of the AVS companies had given Mark about $4,500 to develop regular sites for them. I think the total owing to webmasters at that stage was about $40k -$60k.

The last I heard was that the police were called in and that later the FBI. I'm not sure what the status is at this stage but I'm sure they will end up being arrested.

I hope that there is some justice served up on those fuckers. with that amount of money ripped off, i would guess that the fbi could get involved with some sort of interstate fraud??? That would be nice to hear that they have been relocated to a prison somewhere. Im surprised to not hear more about it, i did a search on this board for shae and found nearly squat.
