I agree, the story sound strange even w/o knowing the guy. Unless your friend was a large man or this was an incredibly small car, how could he have reached the windsheild from infront of the vehicle?
I'm a shorter person, so maybe my perception is a little skewed to peeps of my stature, but the only way I can see someone smashing on a windsheild is if they are on top of the hood or if they are to the side of the car, either way he wouldn;t have been in a position to get run down.
Someone close to me was murdered, the first two weeks the police told me so many different scenarios. It may be a while before what really happend gets put together.
