My cat has a leather fetish, and all my furniture happens to be leather. If anybody in the Tampa Florida area wants a cat, please come get her.

She's very affectionate and very good with kids and other pets (she plays with my bird), but she will destroy anything made of leather, including shoes.

Oh yeah, and if you smoke weed you will have a wonderful smoking partner. This cat seriously jumps on my lap and deliberately breathes in as much smoke as she can while I'm puffin' on a blunt.

I'm not a fan of cats at all and know what you're talking about. When my girlfriend and I first moved out together, we bought a brand new microfiber pull out couch and love seat. Within a week of having them, her stupid cat clawed the love seat side and footrest to hell. Not to mention all of the stuff she pissed on and we threw out. The cat is prissy as hell. Doesn't like a lot of cat litter but not too little or she'll piss elsewhere, she likes to yodel all night, scratch at the doors, wont drink her own water but will drink the dogs...I don't get it. I'm definitely a dog person.

Would you amputate a young kid cause he drew with crayons on your walls????

If you do everything and it does not work, give the cat to someone less cruel then you:2 cents:

I completely agree. Don't get a cat if you don't want to deal with them. Declawing is inhumane. :2 cents:

My (now ex-) wife heard that cats don't like oranges so we tried orange peel, citrus scents, etc., to no avail... the cats kept scratching the sofa. Later we had a cat that would eat ANYTHING--one of her favorite treats was orange-flavored fortune cookies.

get rid of the cat, buy a new couch.

You should blog about it. People love pets and you could get lots of ads on there.

My gf has a cat. She cleans his cat dish and puts some dry food in it, and some fresh water.. the cat ALWAYS picks up ONE piece of dry food in his mouth, carries it over and drops it into the water. ALWAYS, everytime she puts out fresh clean water. Trying to get her to get it on video several times for youtube. It'd get a million hits.

Once you get it into your head that the cat owns the house and everything in it, you'll be fine. You're just there to pay the bills, feed, water, change the litter, and amuse it when required

Yeah, will not work on all cats. Plus sometimes it requires a different citrus type. I had one cat that also would eat anything, well anything but pea's. Gave it some leftover stew and it ate all around every pea and had the bowl and peas licked clean.

It is hard to say what will work with what cat. Perhaps his cat is just bored and needs a friend, a friend with as much energy. That too can backfire so do be careful. Nothing like 2 cats from hell, well perhaps 3.
