No he didnt. He called the lies, lies. And said if people misrepresent the facts, he'll call them out.

2012 09-11-2009 11:45 AM

I've never seen anything like that before. Have you ? Bush got up there and lied his ass off numerous times. Most presidents do, isn't that part of the gig ? Never heard somebody disrupt the Presidents speech like that before.

I think it has to be a racial thing. White people are losing their fucking minds and it's funny to watch actually ... might as well laugh about it.

Let's see.

Marriott Hotel: Lied that you were trying to get a job when the reality is that you were intentionally applying for a job you were not qualified for in expectation of being denied so you could file a lawsuit that this decision was based on race.

Toy store robbery.

That your domain ahshshshaaaa.com was pulling in the hits.

The problem is that they aren't lies.

CRS Report: Treatment of NonCitizens in HR 3200:
http://assets.opencrs.com/rpts/R40773_20090825.pdf

Quote
(See pg 7) Exchange

Under H.R. 3200, a ?Health Insurance Exchange? would begin operation in 2013 and would offer private plans alongside a public option. The Exchange would not be an insurer; it would provide eligible individuals and small businesses with access to insurers? plans, including the public option, in a comparable way. Individuals would only be eligible to enroll in an Exchange plan if they were not enrolled in other acceptable coverage (for example, from an employer, Medicare and generally Medicaid). H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitizens?whether legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently?participating in the Exchange. However, as discussed above, H.R. 3200 would only mandate that resident aliens would be required to have health insurance.

What do the other two House Bills say...about coverage for noncitizens? I would also point out that there are two bills in the Senate...so currently there are five bills under consideration and once there is a single bill in the House and a single bill in the Senate the two bills will then have to be resolved into a single bill to be signed by the President. So...at this point there is not a bill that is conclusive on any aspect that is under consideration so it would be totally inaccurate to say someone is lying about "THE BILL" as there is not any bill that is "THE BILL".

StrokeKing 09-11-2009 12:41 PM

We have to step back and realize how polarized the country has become. It really sets the stage for serious trouble. People spend their days looking for topics to go berserk about.

Both parties are afraid to sit down, listen to the other side and admit they might agree on a few topics - that would currently be seen as 'weakness'.

Sad, and very dangerous.

The problem is like every other bill before, "the bill" won't get done until hours before it's voted on. It will get passed loaded with a bunch of bullshit just like many before it and we won't know about the bullshit until after it's done.

Wilson shouldn't be forced to step down. All he did was draw attention to himself. It has come out that he has gotten pretty large donations from health insurance companies and he is a health insurance industry darling. If you raise your hand, people will take notice of you and like someone else said this has caused his seat to go from being an easy win for him to being in play.

Ok i looked at house bill and looked at what you posted. If what you posted is true then Obama flat out lied. On the other hand repubs are pushing to see that any non legal resident don't receive any help. Problem is the federal courts all ready ruled on equal protection for illegal aliens with regard to federal mandated programs. So if we were not to cover illegal aliens it would be unconstitutional :2 cents:

Hey, the House invited the Office holder of the Office of President of the United States to speak, it is Wilson's 'house' so to speak, and if he wants to call out a lie when he hears one it is his right. Decorum, maybe was in violation of that, but who said there had to be pure silence in the House? Back when members of congress did their job, there were many a verbal fights, so the thought that everyone should shut up is ridiculous. Pelosi is pissed because she did not have total control of voices in the chamber.

ReGGs 09-11-2009 02:38 PM

The greatest part about this story is the fact that a man who consistenly voted against veterans healthcare to pay for the bush tax cuts and supported the war is against spending government money on making people healthy. YET... this man is actually on a government run plan called TRI-CARE which he called "World Class Healthcare". So I guess Addison Wilson(his real name is not even joe) is for government healthcare as long as it only covers him. It's all starting to become so clear now. The new rule of the day is "I got mine screw the rest of you."

Oh yes and speaking about lies. Look who was spreading lies about "Yellow Cake" in 2002.

http://intershame.com/on/Joe_Wilson/

Yup. Joe Wilson himself. Remember that lie? The one that has cost over 4k US lives and countless brown people in foreign countries. Yeah about that...

Guess one party lies to save lives and the other party lies to kill people.

It's a beautiful world ain't it.

Wow !

That guy is a joke. I wonder if he thought about all these things coming out when he decided to disrespect our country on television.

I know the voters will see to it hes job hunting after the election

cykoe6 09-11-2009 02:47 PM

There are plenty of people who support Wilson for having the guts to call out Obama for what he is....... a shameless lair who consistently distorts the facts and tries to mislead the American people to support polices they would never support if they were presented honestly. I am glad there are still some good people like Wilson who are willing to stand up and say what the rest of us are thinking. :2 cents:

Unconstitutional or "maybe" against a Supreme court "opinion"? I don't see anything in the Constitution that says I should have to pay for anyone's health care or anything for anyone else for that matter. Besides when has our Government honestly gave a fuck about the constitution anyway.

DWB 09-11-2009 02:56 PM

If you can't call out your president if given the chance, then heaven help you all. The USA is fucked beyond repair.

I will be nice. Joe Wilson is the name he goes by. His full name is Addison Joe Wilson. Many people go by their middle names. No big deal. He is not hiding anything.

As far as him being covered by government insurance, really? He works for the government and gets government paid health care? That's completely absurd. How dare they?

You know, I seem to recall John McCain, during one of the debates, suggesting that he would consider making this government policy available to the general population.

Joe Wilson and Sarah Palin ought to get together and do a porno: "Raving Retard Rimjobs"
