As far as I know...American is not a culture its a nationality!!!!! You may be tired of having to deal with other people not being like you. I can understand that it gets frustrated but deal with it. Your ancestors came here for the same reasons that the colonist came here, you are no one to judge! It is unethical to impose your beliefs and/or your traditions on other people. Maybe you just need to be a little bit more educated.

hmm.. took my freshman comp so long ago can't remember properly but isn't it supposed to be capitalized only when I'm mentioning a Brit person.. I maybe wrong but 'wrong' is what American English is all about
