more than 30 people with weather tracking devices reported that. And it was ALL over the news for a week or so, and then one day, GONE.

But the deaths, I saw at least 100 bodies. I was there for the clean up. I would say that out of the 100 I saw, 90 of them were immigrants.

Read about some of the major storms that have hit the US, and you will be amazed. But dont read what the gubment tells you, read the other books about them.

The main weather tower for Miami was built of concrete, as it should have been, and was supposed to be able to withstand HUGE hurricane force winds. it last reported the winds at 179 mph, and 30 min later, the tower was gone. Andrew was one of VERY few hurricanes to ever get a class 5 rating.

Just a point of reference:
I live in Moore, OK and the May 3, 1999 F5+ tornado we had briefly reached 318MPH and is recognized as the fasted winds ever recorded on Earth. The NOAA center staffed by the University of Oklahoma was only 20 miles away so they were able to verify this.

Really? I was there as well. We had cadavar dogs and went thru what was left of immigrant housing near the orange groves in Homestead. Pulled out many bodies.

And then in Haiti, after Hurricane Gordon, did the same damn thing again.

As of right now they are saying 15 dead so far but this does not include Galveston island. In that they won't specifically answer. One source says 19, another one says 7. At least that's what they are saying right this minute.

However early on they were saying they expected to find hundreds when the water levels go down because in that area they estimate about 10,000 didn't leave and that entire island was under water. Now when that is brought up they either won't answer at all or simply say we don't know what happened to those people. All we can do is hope for the best.

Yep. I was attached to a PJ group that was helping MetroDade Search and Rescue for the first 5 days after the storm. The PJ's then left, and was continued on.

There were not enough freezers for the bodies.

The only thing left on US1 in Florida City was the Miami subs, and a Hotel. Dont rmember the name of it. The building right next to the miami subs was GONE.

You better call the Guiness Book of World Records. The fastest surface wind ever recorded by an anemometer was 231 mph. And that was a gust (NOT a sustained wind) on top of a mountain. That record had held for over 70 years.

the trick is knowing where and what does and doesnt flood.

We live in Jefferson Parish, and as of right now it is the wealthiest parish in the state and the population is booming, new military bases etc... lots of new families moving in.
