Theoretically, if an oriential dude wanted to 'marry' my girlfriend in exchange for $10,000, would that be a good idea? It would be on paper only.

$10,000 is a lot of money, but at what risk? (in theory, of course)

That's another thing - My girlfriend came home the other day saying that her 'husband' and her were gonna go on vacation to China. I'm invited to go too, but I don't feel like going to China. There's a hundred other places I'd rather go - Amsterdam, the Carribbean Islands... - but the point is that it would probably be the last time I'd see her. She'd be sold on the Chinese black market. Anyhow, I've talked her out of going there, but she's still considering even doing the marrage at all at this point.

I think the whole thing just may not be worth it.

Theres a chick in blackwood right near you turbo that married some guy for 8 grand. well she is now in jail .. fucking with the ins is no joke.. but just so you know once she marries him she will have to live with him for atleast three years...also he can sorta do what ever he wants with her becuase all he has to do is turn himself into ins and he gets sent home and your girl goes to jail. Money sounds good but more problems will follow ..

I know a Russian girl who recently married in the US for her residency. It's not working out very well for her. She promised the guy a few good lays...he moved away and now she's prego. He refuses to have anything to do with the child and she wants child support and all that good stuff.
