:mad Prediction: Because of Bush, Turkey will start the third world war.

We can invade a country to fight terrorism, but turkey is told not too...well they are starting to amass their 1,000,000+ man army along the Iraqi border and are ready to defy bush by going in to do exactly what we did, except these terrorists are on their border.

Statement from turkey "[para-phrased] We will fight until every last turk is dead if we have too!"

Now imagine the reaction from Iran, and the rest of the world when this large army pours into Iraq. It's not going to be pretty.

Once again the bush administration, in offering NO help in putting down the Kurdish PKK for Turkey or even letting them do it themselves, but yet illegally enters a nation in the name of stopping terrorists half the earth away for it's own agenda will cause more bloodshed and further alienate us from the eastern countries, wobbling a dangerously unstable house of cards.

Quote:
Others chanted "Down with the PKK and USA!" Many Turks are angry at Washington over what they consider the failure of U.S. and Iraqi forces to honor pledges to crack down on the group, which is listed by the U.S. as a terrorist movement.
We are fucked.

what's sad is, you'd think that would have learned their lesson.

Yet the next election they'll vote Clinton in...because the overall ignorance of the country is that great, they won't vote a real president in, because he's half black.

I'ts been going on since 1970. Sadam kept them in check...gassed their kurd asses if they got out of line. Then we cam in...so they now train and prepare while we hide them. bad bad news.

Over here on the UK news they said the PKK will start an unconditional cease fire from 12 pm(that was yesterday over here) but weather it will hold or not is something else.

Turkey invaded northern Iraq about twenty times in the 90's. WW3 isn't going to break out if they do it now.

The issue is the Kurdistan Workers Party (the PKK). They are an official terrorist group.

One interesting thing is Blackwater security is under investigation for smuggling weapons to the PKK.

ATTENTION RETARD ALERT !!!!!!!

Once again people post news story without any clue as to what they are saying.
The resolution to recognize the massacre of over 1.5 million Armenians by the Ottoman Empire (Turks) has been pushed by the Democrats and has been strongly criticized by the Bush administration.

If you don't believe me, then check out this article on CNN which we all know just loves Bush. http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/10/...key/index.html

THIS HAS BEEN A RETARD ALERT

Yea, but the instability of an invading force going into Iraq will cause a domino effect with everyone afraid their enemies will prevail. Russia included.

Nah not at all, literally everyone wants the kurds dead, they are responsible for over 35,000 turkish deaths since the 80's. The PKK will be crushed easily, just not instantly.

Turkey is going to fuck up the Kurds and rightfully so. They have been shelling border cities for too long. Turkey won't put up with it much longer and will eventually just tell the US to either take care of it themselves or MOVE. The US won't take care of it, they are using the Kurds to fight northern insurgants.

It's a threesome clusterfuck.

The Kurds are so innocent that they killed lots of teachers and medical staff sent by Turkish government to the region to provide them a better life.

Ah, and also they have an important role in drug trafficking.

I doubt it man, they are responsible for 10's of thousands of deaths and are officially terrorists, without a doubt in a few years they will start again. If i was turkey I'd get rid of them now.

Lebanon was different, even though Hezbollah were innocent, Israel wanted to flex it's muscles and eventually got embarressed by being defeated by Hezbollah . The Kurds, Israel don't care about, thus the US not caring about them.

Either way the Turks will destroy them (the PKK)

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Israel was being attacked from Lebanon, and they had every right to defend themselves. The problem with Turkey is no different - they are being attacked by forces in Iraq. The "proper" thing to do is give the US enough time to "deal with the problem", but I believe it is unlikely that the US will be able to stem the problem quickly enough. Turkey will most likely invade Northern Iraq.

So, with the above two cases used as a reference.... This will give the US a reason to attack Iran.

Currently the US has military forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pakistan is nearly in a civil war and Pakistan and India have been nipping at each other for years (I'm surprised India hasn't attacked in Kashmir). Israel just bombed Syria a few months ago, and it's only a matter of time before Iran starts the "mother of all battles part two" where they launch eleven thousand missiles a minute into Iraq at US forces. Most of Africa is at war with itself.

At what point does this become a World War?

1. Since when do the US wait or need for a reason. Agressors don<t do that

2. What is the reason already ???? Iran has no US kidnappee, had nothing to do with 9/11, etc....

3. In fact, up to now, Iran has been attacked and their air space violated. They showed a lot of restraint... that the US would and did not show.

Meanwhile, the Idiot in the WH shaked the whole region like a moron he is; no wonder it is now broken behond repair.

Sorry that's wrong, Hezbollah decided to capture 2 Israeli soldiers on the border so they could set up a PEACEFUL trade with some of the thousands of Lebonese prisoners that Israel holds illegally, but no, Israel being it's usual self decided to declare war resulting in innocent people dying.

Endless war in oil countries. Good for some people, bad for others.

If your an investor, buy defense and oil company stocks. Those should be good over the mid to long term. All that defense money has to go somewhere.

If your middle class, watch the dollar slide down as we print off 190 Billion dollars a year which will slowly erode your buying potential. I still can't believe the dollar is now on par with the Canadian dollar.

And it goes without saying what happens if your poor in said countries...

What's Turkey? A country where it's illegal to speak about the Armenian genocide, where Youtube and WordPress are banned, where an Islamist is President, and where Turkish citizens are not allowed to use Kurdish language names.

On the internet, Turks claim that Kurds are dark skinned and inferior, and Turkish hackers (cyberterrorists) regularly assault websites in Sweden, the US and other democratic countries.

It's a fascist shithole.
