I had a great time, which is a bonus at my parties. Usually I'm running around putting out fires all night. This time, I just had a few fires early on then it was smooth sailing.

I'm totally thrilled that the eye candy stood out like that all night (thanks Airek).

You can see in Fubars pics, all sponsors are in the pics because of the placement of the big screen behind the stage.

It just shows you don't need 'big names / big bucks' to throw a great rock show. Some of the best shows I've ever seen were unknown/indy bands costing $3-5 :thumbsup

And you're right about the cost of shows, however, in this case it didn't apply because these guys were more money then lot's of big name artists including Anthrax. At first you think it's crazy for a cover band to be that much, until you see a Metal Skool show. Their backline was also super expensive, they have the real deal set up which is another reason they sound so good. But they are some of the most gifted musicians around.

We had 20 mics on the drum alone.

Dick Delicious sounded great too, they were hardcore alright. But you'll never see me say, "I'm a big Dick fan".

But I can say, I'm a big DD & the TT fan.

That rocked!

Excellent clip. Dick Delicious might have to group the band back together and release a new album. How would you do a follow up to "Diarrhea"?

I gotta say, this turned out SOOOOOOOOOOO much better than I ever thought. Dick and his Testies were sick and Metal Skool might be the best cover band I've ever heard. I had so much fun that I couldn't stop smiling for hours after the party. This is a great new beginning to a new style of D$'s Parties. Rock the Ball was a major success and I can't wait for the next one.
