If you do, do you know of any good sites that can teach you the basics?

No idea... Disc Golf has throwing styles, and all types of stuff.. from what wiki says, never heard of it.

just go out to the course witha glass piece,
a good nugget or two, and some discs. find some hippies and burn one with em. they will teach you far better than a website could.
