It's hard to judge repair costs on a house too. I've been fucked over by a greedy landlord in the past. Anyone who has rented before knows that landlords will fuck you out of every dime of your security deposit that they can.
I thought I'd hear about huge parties where feces was flung on the walls and ruined floors from a giant sand pit that was setup in the living room. But the damages are some scratches on a hardwood floor in an old house, some dirty carpets, and some broken things that weren't his fault allegedly? Sounds like every single place I've rented to or from someone. Most sounds like wear and tear, and part of the shit that comes along with renting out a place. |
And I can't imagine how bad that back injury sucks. I've thrown my back out moving stuff and it basically kills any productivity for a week. Back injuries are the worst and affect every inch of your body.

From personal experience I know that coming in and working on an older legacy system can be nightmarish, especially if the software is undocumented (which most of it is when it's custom-written). Developing something new from scratch can take months or even years. Stu gave it the best he had I'm sure :) It's a shame to see things go this route

StuartD you suck, It's obvious that you faked that injury by cutting open your ass with a canopener. So you could look for a job while DH was paying you. Bad Stu bad...All the stand up guys that have worked for DH have torn into you so far in this thread...Oh not so much but i'm sure if there were some happy employees of DH they would really rip you a new one if that hadn't been done already. DH has not bought me a drink or shaken my hand so I may be a nobody but that means he's not a stand up guy or top notch. Stu wish you all the best on your new gig, you actually know what the fuck you are doing and if I need an extra hand in programming I would happily hire you.
