sweet jesus....finally a good thread
I have a custom built 130 defender with a 4.5L rover engine, headers, custom intakes/carbs and ignition. Stage 3 old man emu suspension and 34 inch mudders..... Arb guards all around with front/rear winch. Stainless exhaust.... Rovers are a disease get out while you can. Before they break you. Plus to trailor it...is kinda weak, and disco's make nice trucks for the wife....have one coming down in a few weeks all spec'd out for the mud for her. Costa Rica has a way of eating trucks whole where we live. |

Well.. looks like it was a Land Rover - before it got "Texified" (as in a Texas truck) :winkwink:
Make some dents on the bodywork and ya could even restore it to Land Rover status :-) |
that's badass :thumbsup :thumbsup

I like it .. I had a 2002 Discovery II and was considering doing the same but it just doesn't get enough use in NY. I love the look you... did a great job.
I've always loved the Defender and still want to get one. they are not cheap but i hear they are planning on importing them again soon (so the guy at the dealer tells me but who knows) I wonder if it will be as well made or wimped out like the Hummer was .. |
