How was 2006 for your business?

So how was 2006 for your business?

As good, better or the same as 2005?

We hear so many gripes about people doing badly, so tell us how you did last year compared to the year before.

Of course if you were not here in 2005 you can still tell us something. I'm saying nothing about how we did.

2006 was one of my best years - I wonder if it's related with not posting on GFY for almost the entire year...

Best year since www.dwhs.com opened was 2006 and the best month we have ever had was November 2006. But that's hosting.

Here is to a better year for everyone.

I still think the net is young, very young.

Much the same as 2005 Paul, tho never activated any new stuff, so hardly unexpected. Was also spending less time earning much more outside of the adult biz, so overall 2006 was a massive earner.

But.. got some good shit under development during 2006 and will activate these projects in 2007 and will be on an increase.

I did less posting on boards, even though it may not seem so.

Every door opened at just the right time in 2006. I did very well, but worked hard for it. My best year ever!

However, 2007 looks like it's going to blow 2006 out of the water. I'm just trying to hold on at this point.

The downside is... I'm fatter and I feel like shit. I'm getting that under control as well, I don't like feeling bad.

Great question. I did worse.
2002 and 2003 were amazing years for me, but it slowly went downhill from there, and 2006 was bad

Now it's over 75% of us are doing better.

So why all the negative threads?

Or do we need the guys in the US to get out of bed.

Only joking guys.

Paul, this is not an accurate poll. People that didn't meet or pass 2005 aren't going to admit it.
So much happened in that 2 year period. Only the diligent record keepers did well.

Well seeing as most on this board are probably still building their business, the poll is highly misleading.

Ask those who have been in the biz for 6+ years.

Anyhow 2007 has been good to me so far... infact if things continue I will be doubling my income

And thats without perfecting the art of getting signups without working join links ;)

Gross was better than 2005, I think I pretty much had to pay more expenses to keep revenue close to even or somewhat above

06 was the worst year for me in this biz. I made the least amount of money. This year, im focusing on working harder & taking a few risks/chances/investments that I skipped out on in 06 that would have made me alot of money.

The business made more money this year. Well I will have to see if that bumps me up in the tax brackets though cuz it could have actually hurt me.
