Doesn't really work that well unless you chase it down with a shot of Crown Royal.

it's good now :) They had to do a permanant removal. I'm still high off of the valium. The first 20-30 mins, I was telling my boyfriend "I don't feel any different yet.." about 10 mins after that, I did. The room started to spin and the floor felt like I was walking on a giant sponge, it was cool! hehehe

Then the doc told me to pop the other 5mg pill. About 20 mins after that, I was giggling and talking up a storm to the doc as she worked on my toe :thumbsup

It calmed me down so I wasnt nervous for the needle part (which was still painful as FUCK). She poked me once, not bad..she poked me again and I was in PAIN for only about 5 seconds. (I told her to just hurry up and stab me twice with the needle instead of doing it slowly like she did a few months ago). It hurt more BUT the trade off was that it was only for a few seconds, compared to a minute.

After that, she had to give me a 3rd shot (to kill the root of the right side of my nail) but I couldn't feel shit at that point anyways. This was the 2nd time since June that I had an ingrown toenail on that toe, same side. So now I'll never get that little side of my toe nail back but I am more than fine with that! Cosmetically, no one will really be able to tell unless you really look. But I will never get an ingrown toenail on that side ever again, so w00t w00t to that! :thumbsup

It's been 4 hours since I took the valium and I am VERY tired, I actually passed out while sitting upright on the couch watching tv :1orglaugh I still can't feel my toe, it's numb as hell. $100 cash for the procedure plus $10 for the Valium..not too shabby!! :thumbsup

It made me sick as a dog. Very woozy and not in a good way. Almost like I was seasick.

10mg might not knock you out. 20mg definately will if you take them at once. but overall you'll feel relaxed and relatively good. i wouldn't recommend drinking alcohol at all while taking valium. believe me i speak from experience haha.

He wants to give you two .5mg which is 1mg. Should make you feel real nice. For me though, I'm very sensitive, that would knock me out for 10 hours!!

you are wrong dumbass...maybe you are thinking of xanax

Valium is one of the more Weaker Benzos (xanax, Valium, Klonpin, Ativan, Ect) depending on your weight, 10mg of Valium should make you feel a bit Tipsy.. Like your Equalibrium is a bit messed up.. and your nerves should be very calm.. Its your normal Anti-Anxiety drug :D

thebossxxx 11-30-2006 08:39 PM

I'm happy you had good luck with your Valium experience.. :)

BlazingBucks_Ryan 11-30-2006 08:53 PM

Hey baba, glad to hear it worked so well for you .. that procedure doesn't sound like much fun drugged up or not lol !!!

Valium is less potent than xanax, but for most people 5 mg of valium will 'sedate them' to the point where intense stress does not get to them. Nowadays valium is rarely issued for anything other than Sleep Disorders I thought. I must be wrong though. I would of expected a doctor in that situation to give you something like a couple of xanax, buspar, or ativan to make you more relaxed. Maybe valium has some other side effect that helped increase your tolerance to pain too ?

Sure you feel better getting that all out of the way, pry similar to how I feel about dental work (ugh!)
