I can understand a sponsor not noticing this because ibill signed up as an affiliate but who are the fucking morons who bought ads from them. I would love to see this list of idiots.

This company fucked us out of MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. But they stay in business and continue to make money off of our traffic from our previous members. The traffic to that site is either from old links or very likely from the millions of email info they have in their data base that are our members.

How can they be allowed to fuck us, keep the money, close the door and then open up a new one, on the same domain, continue to leach off of our traffic, and now compete with us for sales. WTF!?@#@#!

And who are these sponsors that are allowing this to happen ? NO ONE should do business with them.

Watch it wont be long these shady fucks will be selling zango downloads on that site.
This is one of the rare cases I would be tempted to buy zango traffic for the keyword "ibill.com" and then redirect it to ibillsucks.com

IBILL: owes me $35,000 how much do they owe you.
Good summation - and you raise some good points.

For the record...we were among the lucky few who were finally paid in full by iBill more than a year and a half later. It wasn't as much as what you claim to be owed, however it was a significant amount. And even though we were following the advice of our company attorney - we still went through a ton of bullshit to get the revenues paid awhile back.

The fuckers belong behind bars - plain and simple. Dollar for dollar...I don't know why this story hasn't made national mainstream headlines like the Enron or Worldcom debacles.

I believe they even came on GFY asking for advertisers
They didn't come to us affiliates looking for money, I bet it was the big sponsors so you might want to direct that at them. I don't recall seeing them here. Also, I am sure they came as gspotnews and how many people knew that was ibill.

Now what makes it 10x worse is that they are still leaching off of us. They are taking old traffic links (from us) and better SE placement links/traffic (because of us) and using that to make money and compete against us. I would bet anything they are mass emailing old members, if anyone gets one let us know.

I can understand why people are getting upset now. I am definetly one of them.

Totally agree Will

One thing that is a surprise - at least so far, is that firm legal action has not already been taken by webmasters actually resident in the US for recovery of funds - or have this corp bankrupted/liquidated and all proceeds retrieved. (OK.. Sure some have taken action and had varying degrees of success - but that is minor in comparison to the majority presumably remaining owed)

Also appreciate that some webmasters may have signed paperwork converting their deal to etelegate, - tho surely there are plenty who were not stupid enough to agree to the introduction of etelegate, and still have funding legally owing by iBill and where iBill is deliberately ignoring these debts.

A possible alternative to boring prolonged legal action is involve a govt agency into aspects of corporate offenses with a view to terminating this company and addressing the role of it's officers over a timespan. This is not without it's problems in establishing actual evidence since, little doubts, iBill will have been causing "deliberate confusion" to cover their tracks - but sure it's there.

I'm not familiar with corp law in the US, but basically it's going to be the same as elsewhere and have no doubts that a corp elsewhere acting in the manner of iBill would already have had a petition lodged for bankruptcy (tho that may be technically questionable - it could be for other reasons) and possible criminal investigation underway.

But hell.. unless anyone, or a group of creditors with legitimate claims have the initiative to start the ball rolling - that will never happen - sadly.

PS Can't say I'm owed by them any longer - they paid out a while back after the usual lies and bullshit and finally threats, - but still willing to do whatever to assist other webmasters have any resolution/satisfaction.

I think the fact that those ads are still there, still directed at the sponsors site and not going elsewhere as ?Vivid did shows how these sponsors feel about the issue.

Also the non appearance of any of these sponsors, as with the adware situation, illustrates their feelings as well.

Are these sponsors scared they will lose less traffic than they will gain?

Are these sponsors worried they will get turned over by IBILL?

Are these sponsors worried about things such as morality and ethics?

Seems the answer to all these are NO.

If they were worried that placing ads or accepting traffic from the biggest con operation to ever hit the Adult Internet was going to damage their bottom line the ads would disappear in minutes or redirect. Truth is they are clearly not worried.

Not only does that reflect badly on them but it also reflects badly on us.

It reflect5s that the sponsors on that site simply do not think a drama on GFY is going to effect their bottom line. Think about it.

If I were the sponsors, I would let them rack up a nice check, and freeze the account.

Then go through the courts to see who they owe, and pay those people.

Just like other issues, if it sticks around long enough some sponsors will come clean and some will not. We need to keep this on the front page so everyone knows about.

LOL, you realize that much of the old IBill management from the period when they were sold to Penthouse/IBD/etc were from Worldcom, post-disaster?

Of course, many of them, including at least one person on Webby's list, are working at another billing company.

vivid and nscash cancelled their accounts.

Im not sure how nats works when an account gets deleted, but penthouse also said they closed their account. However, the linking codes are not being redirected.

I would suggest people contact there sponsors and let them know how you feel about it.

I say everyone running AFF email AFF telling them to blacklist or drop that domain or else we will stop promoting AFF.. Their Affiliate number is:g814244 And do the same with Platinum Bucks as well!. If these people wanna allow these assholes to make money then slam them!.. They owe me also but it was under 1G... I'm sure most got screwed out of thousands!..
