Personally I love it. I can only get it in the big hotels in South America.

Are you talking about "sweet" ice tea?
In the South, sweet tea is pretty much the only thing anyone drinks. And I don't like it, which is an abomination around here. I always make it and keep it in the fridge, though. Unless you never have people over to your house, you have to. This is how I make it: I use Tetley, family size tea bags. I have a separate Bunn coffee maker that is the "tea machine". I use three tea bags in the basket. I run the water through twice, making two full pots. I pour the pots into a gallon pitcher, fill it the rest of the way with tap water, then add 1.5 cups of sugar, stir, and stick it in the fridge. Even though I don't necessarily drink it, I've noticed that "sweet tea" is not the same in any other part of the country or outside the USA. |
I drink it daily. Love it. We buy the boxes of Lipton "Cold Brew" iced tea bags. Just put the bags in a pitchure, fill it with water, and put it in the fridge for about 15 minutes. Take it out, remove the bags, and stir it up.
I drink it in 32oz cups with crushed ice and 5 sweet & low bags. It's perfect. I can't stand Nestea mixes. It's like drinking Tang instead of Sunny Delight. |
I like nestea iced tea lemon flavor and iced green tea. :)
