Natural source vitamins are the way to go, and only as a supplement... not as a replacement for eating real fruits and vegetables.

I know people who suck vitamins down like candy and then eat mostly fast food and other junk, chips, cookies etc. "Ya I'm taking vitamins, look at me I'm healthy!"... pffft. 50 lbs overweight ain't healthy.
