PHP/MySQL Developers ?
What are some of the better tech forums for talking PHP and MySQL, asking questions, getting answers, sharing snippets of code, etc. ?
What editor do you use for coding ? What version of PHP are you using now ? What version of MySQL ? Do you use PEAR ? A templating system ? ADODB ? Just curious.

i'd say #php on efnet is a good place to talk in real-time with people. don't know any good boards for that shit... never really need it, if php.net can't answer my question, then i'll hit up irc, or figure it out on my own...

I use php.net a lot too if I want to remember or find a certain function, or get some ideas. Thats why I was wondering about the php boards.. for something to read when I'm bored. The PHP Developer's Cookbook is awesome. Do you have that yet ? I got the 1st Edition but haven't picked up the 2nd Edition yet. I'm not sure if it'd be a waste of money or not, depending on whats been added to it. If you dont' have it yet, definitely pick it up! I use UltraEdit if I'm working on a windows box, or Pico if I'm on the linux box. I don't use ADODB yet, it seems pretty bloated for what I do. I'm thinking of choosing a template system and learning it for future work.
