WTF are you talking about? It all started after a player from Holland didn't return the ball from an injuried player of Portugal.

The whole stadium was against Holland, and pretty much the whole world. You have no idea how the Holland team is being bashed on the news over here.

Both teams played like idiots and was a disgrace to a beautiful game. I doubt he was talking about one team over the other. He was talking about the match in general.

In the 59nd minute, Figo gave a head butt.

In the 62nd minute, Figo faked an injury and got a Dutch player a second yellow card by that.

In the 73rd minute, Holland did not return that ball.

...of course, lots of stuff had already happened before that, from both sides, starting with the two deserved yellow cards for Holland in the first few minutes.

But really, that doesn't even matter. "They started it" is an excuse that is not even acceptable from children. Both teams played a disgusting game devoid of any semblance of sportsmanship.
